You will need a few more days or so before you could assume that. They allow a little time for credits from flights on partner airlines to come in before dropping you back from Gold to Silver if you fell short.

Edit: if you get comped they would send you a letter saying so accompanied with your new card. They typically send these out even before the year ends so sometimes you may get a letter but actually qualify after that with flights just before the year ends so it turns out not to be a comp after all.

Were you close to the 600 SCs and was your 3 year average good?

Interesting that although I fell back to PS as predicted, I was given an extra three months on my QANTAS Club membership. I made SG at east two months after renewal of QP, and got 12 months from the SG anniversary, which by my reckoning means I was comped 2-3 months. So not all bad!

It doesnt matter when they credit, they still apply to the date they were earned. If they had credited on May 1 they would have immediately expired.

If they are for flights flown last membership year that's the year they'll count to. Only if you flew them this membership year will they count to this year.

1400 SCs wiped tonight with another 230 SCs to next loyalty bonus.

Wasted 200 SCs that I should have sent elsewhere. Need to try and get on top of that next year.

1640 SCs disappearing tonight. 70% of the way to the LTG ‘superannuation’ goal - Mrs Rugby achieved it a couple of months ago. First job tomorrow is to pull the trigger on a loyalty bonus and I’ll be off and running for the year. 1400 SCs worth of travel booked, so far, for the next year.

Same here, although I will wait until the current SCs are officially gone from the account.

For me I got it exactly right with 1,200 SCs. Having previously attained LTG there's no need to exceed the minimum number to retain WP.
