Jetstar Delays/Cancellations

Any idea what's happening with JQ15 CNS-KIX? Cancelled yesterday and three hour delay today.

JQ614, the Saturday 12 May 2018, 0905 hours from AVV up to SYD with A320 VH-VGU took off at 1020 hours so arrival should be at 1147, 77 minutes tardy.

In further on 12 May with single runway operations still in force for Sydney, JQ641, the 1010 hours PPP - SYD that took off at 1041 (A320 VH-XSJ) is arriving at 1323 hours, 53 minutes late.

JQ613 (1100 hours SYD down to AVV, A320 VH-VGU) looks to be taking off at about 1347 so arrival should be at around the 1500 hours mark, 145 minutes late.

In further on Saturday 12 May, JQ768 (1510 hours SYd - ADL, A320 VH-VQP) was airborne at 1710. Arrival is predicted for 1824 hours, 94 minutes behind the timetable.

OOL-AVV today JQ 631delayed departure ~60m but made up 15m to arrive 45m tardy.

The delays really cascade through the network. I’d hazard a guess and suggest the operating aircraft was ~60m delayed ex-SYD earlier in the morning.

True - of SYD has problems (as today) or MEL probs as yesterday then many flights are affected.

However if there's a silver lining from today, it's that Saturday afternoons are quiet compared to most weekdays, especially Fridays, and Sunday arvo/evenings.

On Sunday 13 May, JQ764, the 1000 SYD across to ADL took off at 1056 so arrival should be at roughly 1219 hours, 34 late for A320 VH-VQR.

Monday 14 May 2018 sees MEL experiencing some fog although delays are not uniform.

JQ971 is expected to arrive at 1041 instead of 0805, while JQ473 arrived at 0847, 57 late.

The 0640 hours SYD - MEL, JQ531 took off at 0842 so arrival with A321 VH-VWZ should be at 0955 hours, 100 minutes late.

On Saturday 19 May 2018, JQ67, the 1445 hours from MEL up to CGO - an airport code some of us including me had/may have to look up - did not become airborne until 1711 hours, so arrival should be at about 0120 hours on Sunday 20, 125 minutes late. B788 Vh-VKK is the aircraft. It was in MEL all today, having come in on the Friday night JQ44 ex DPS.

The 0045 hours scheduled JQ68 back overnight to MEL will be delayed until at least 0230 hours in its departure from mainland China.

JQ945 (0615 hours CNS - MEL that took off at 0644, A320 VH-VQM) should arrive at roughly 1017 hours, 37 minutes late.

In the opposite direction, JQ560 (morning 0820 hours MEL up to BNE, A321 VH-VWN) was airborne at 0920 so arrival should be at 1111 hours, 41 minutes tardy.

The evening of Friday 25 May finds JQ724, the 2000 hours from HBA up to SYD (A320 VH-VFP) not having taken off until 2047, so arrival is predicted at 2222, 32 minutes late.

On Sunday 27 May 2018, JQ475 (morning 0825 hours NTL down to MEL, A320 VH-VQP) did not become airborne until about 1200 'high noon' so arrival is likely at about 1320, 195 minutes late.

Northbound JQ824, the 1100 hours SYD up to BNE that was in the sky at 1158 with A321 VH-VWY should arrive at 1313 hours, 43 minutes behind the timetable.

JQ43 (Monday 28 May 2018, the 0915 hours MEL - DPS that took off at 1012) should be at its destination half an hour late at 1345 this afternoon with b788 VH-VKL.

On Saturday 2 June 2018, JQ37 (1640 hours SYD - DPS that took off at 1735 with B788 VH-VKE) should be at its destination at 2153 hours, 48 minutes late.

On Monday 4 June 2018, fog has been a problem at ADL (with reports of 11 planes having diverted) as JQ774, the 0855 hours MEL - ADL (A320 VH-VFD) took off at 1046 and should arrive at 1126, 101 minutes late.

Later on Monday 4 June 2018, JQ604 (the lunchtime 1305 hours AVV up to SYD, A320 VH-VFI that took off at a much delayed 1631) is set to arrive at 1745 hours, 195 minutes behind schedule.

This aircraft had arrived in MEL eight minutes early on JQ603 from SYD at 0827 this morning, but due to fog in ADL, the next sector, JQ632, the 0905 hours, diverted to AVV and did not take off from there until 1233 hours, arriving ADL at 1322, 207 late. From there it ran JQ633, the 1025 hours that took off at 1408, arriving MEL at 1541, 211 minutes tardy.
