JQ531, Monday 16 July 2018's scheduled 0640 hours SYD down to MEL (A321 VH-VWY) did not become airborne until 0728. Arrival is therefore estimated at 0850, 35 late.
In a similar vein, the following JQ503, the 0700 hours with A320 VH-VQQ was in the sky at the nostalgic time of 0747. MEL arrival is suggested as 0915, 40 late.
Making a threesome, but this one the worst, JQ501 from SYD to MEL, the scheduled 0605 hours pushback took off at 0754. A320 VH-JQX is forecast to be at its MEL destination at 0910 hours, 90 late. A delay of this magnitude is difficult to recover from all day, unless there is a midday substantial layover or a return flight somewhere else is given the boot.
JQ473 (0610 hours NTL down to MEL) has A320 VH-VQP but did not depart until 0807 hours. Arrival is therefore delayed until 0936 hours, 106 late.
