Does Virgin have a Lounge in CNS?

Just had a look. Doesn't look like it. Is there anything in the pipeline?

Wow. Didn't expect that.

I guess this means that phase 1 of the golden triangle war will soon begin.

I would hope its an error but given that the removed the one work flight I used to use to Sydney I suspect that they are not really interested anymore. It's certainly done Virgin a huge favour as I have now moved most of my flights to them from all ports. Has a flight booked in November from ADL back to CNS and just had a call last week, its now also Cx'd so if you don't want to leave ADL at 0930 its no longer possible to get back to CNS in the same day! The QF person on the phone was also typical of their current standard and was quite rude and abrupt when asking what I wanted to do..........

JetStar Boosts Cairns Operation from Sep 2012 | Airline Route

I have to believe this as they have the aircraft type listed, and well everything listed correctly :(

I have to suspect it's an error...... Unless the cat is out of the bag..??..??

Red Roo - care to confirm or deny???

Someone on AFF recently said that they were talking to a QF FA and how they (QF FA's) would be wearing Orange Star uniforms in a few years, does bear some fruit...

Are they actually referring to the services that have already been announced ie the replacement of the morning and evening flights - QF are still selling some seats after AUG 23 but not the ones that were already announced - or is this just wishful thinking that we will still have 2 carried to chose form if necessary......

See, that's what I thought when I looked it over again, but thought about it for a second

JQ already operate 3 x daily if I am not mistaken (21 x weekly). Taking over one QF rotation means an extra 7 services up to 28 per week.

That press release last month, I believe, relates to existing services as you say. So I don't think there is any change there. Whether it has now changed further as per the Airline Route note above remains a moot question.
