And this one is open to all?

Worth holding out for more?

Yes. You just register. Doubt the offer will get any better.

It has been getting better all the time.

I can just see Qantas losing a lot of money on this deal. Load the card and withdraw the cash.

I imagine the Ts & Cs prevent cash withdrawal counting as eligible spend.

I haven't read them but from memory the previous offers did not mention anything about not withdrawing cash. Maybe this one is different.

Either way it looks to be worth it.

It's SPENDING on the card, cash withdrawals are not valid transactions for either of these 2500 point offers

You must spend the cash, not use an ATM, and it must be an overseas transaction to the equivalent of AUD$250. Good for online shopping I guess.

I can't see anything that says it must be an overseas transaction.

A bit o/t forgive me; there are a number of Qantas cash threads, but this seems to be the active one. What's the usual points posting time for o/s purchases on the Qantas Cash card?

Been over a month for me now. Pretty normal sort of stuff (food, retail) in Canada and US, so I'm assuming 'eligible'. No indication of posting time on the web site that I could see.

That tricked me the first time. It does not have to be an overseas transaction.

Unfortunately I do not need flights so need to work out what the cost would be to load card with $250 and spend it on other goods and services.

So forego 125 points at 1/2 point dollar over 1 point card and pick up 2500 ...

Also be careful if your status will change during your trip, as the card will get deactivated

When I moved from Gold to Platnium, my gold card continued to keep working despite having the platnium card at home (just hadnt activated it yet). The card number remained the same, only the expiry and the security code changed!

Not sure if this is still an issue?

Same for me, unsure where this is coming from that the existing card is immediately cancelled.
