I got the 2000 points offer too, but card turned up last week. Won't say no to that and not holding out for 5000 points.

Got the card - no offer for bonus points, yet. I'm going to hang onto this one as we've already got a 1P/$ QFF earning (non ATO) Visa, and I'm thinking it won't be that long before 0.5P/$ for ATO @ 0.42% starts to look good :(

Got the card today. Haven't activated it yet.
But no bonus points offer. Was the offer by email? Not sure they have my email?

I received both the new card and the 2000 bonus points offer today. The points are only awarded after using the card. May as well activate, use and then kill at the end of this cycle.

My card arrived today too. I think I'll wait and see if they offer 5000 points and then activate, and then cancel before the end of my year.

The bonus points offer was by email. It was for 2000 points but some folks are referring to 5000 - maybe the big(ger) spenders:confused:.

Got the new card today. In no hurry to activate as it will be meeting the titanium scissors before too long. I will see how long I can drag it out and what offers they send me.
So far 10% off a shop at woolies is of no interest to me.

In the meantime the Citi Signature is working well for 1:1 QF (no ATO), but I'm moving to other programs so Altitude and Citi warehousing is the next move. Then SQ and CX at whim.

Now to (thoughtfully) dispose of half a million QF points... Perhaps a points + pay to retain WP and cost them more over the next year might just be the appropriate revenge.

No, my offer went from 10% discount to 5000 points. Didn't get a 2000 point offer.

Oooh thanks for posting that, very good to know. I plan on canceling this card after their limit on points and higher fee but it would be nice to get a 5000 bonus first

Just realised that I've made a Bpay payment from my bank account to my Woolworths Money Visa card AFTER I'd activated it, but the Bpay details I have in my bank account are the old Bpay reference number. The transaction hasn't made it into my Woolworths account yet. It was paid on the 11th. Will it get there or do I need a new Bpay reference number?

It's all very confusing and I can't wait to cancel this stupid card.

I did the same. After all, those were the Bpay details on the statement. Mine took around 5 business days to show.

Whew! I went looking to see if there was a new Bpay number to pay to but couldn't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I forgot to check the statement! Good advice.

This whole situation is ridiculous. The website indicates you can pay by Bpay via telephone banking but not online until you activate the new card. After wrestling with their phone system I finally got to talk to someone who told me I couldn't until I activated the new card. After I firmly told them I had no intention of doing that and didn't want it due to the changes he said he would have the "hold" lifted so I could pay. Made the Bpay payment from my online banking after the call, no idea if/when it will go through. They had better not hit me with a late fee.

The last 2 months with this card have been my best ever. The March points just posted so I am very happy. It seems that there was no surveillance on ATO payments so that has been brilliant for me. Thank you for being caring and sharing with us Silver Donut.

I have made 4 or 5 bpay payments from my bank to this card in the last 3 weeks, including one yesterday. I have not activated the new card. All payments were made from NAB internet banking to the same account number ive been using for years. On EVERY occasion, the funds have been available on the wow card the next day, however the transaction doesn't appear in online banking for 4 or 5 days however it is backdated to the date I made the payment.

I don't understand what your problem is.

A payment I made on the 11th showed up this morning. Phew!

My problem is that they are forcing these changes on us and then contradicting themselves, one minute saying you cant pay via Bpay online (it says it right when you log in into your account), saying you can Bpay via phone (couldn't find a way to do that after going around and around for 20 minutes in their phone system) and then being told I had to activate in order to pay.

I just did a $10 test Bpay payment using the new Bpay reference number on my last statement. I'll see how long that takes.

10% and 2000 points offered. How many others are holding out, I'm not sure. I don't use the card but got it fee free until October as my annual fee was charged just before the changeover.
