Adam Hills just tweeted he's on the flight - guess he'll be up the front

Safe travels

Check in was well and truly open when I got there at T-170 with staff and cameras everywhere. I avoided the scrum and was through in no time. The F/WP queue was empty. Unlike the seat next to me for my flight to PER. :(

There was no F lane at LHR for QF10 today. Check in for OW emerald in the same line as business.

Geez these flights are long!

I make some dinner and the flight takes off.

I watch a movie and head to bed the flight has been in progress for a few hours.

I wake up get ready for work and there is still 6hrs to go before arrival...

Not one I would contemplate

What Qantas doesn’t want you to know about new flight

SURE, 17 non-stop hours between Perth and London is fabulous in business class. But for the rest of us? Far from it.

I KNOW I shouldn’t think about it, I’ll scare myself to death but after 17 hours in the air, I can’t get the worst case scenario out of my head.
No, not a plane crash. I’m convinced that I am breathing more farts than air.

Not sure what flight he was on - apparently it had first class ;)

He does say First and Economy but no mention of J.

Either way, he should thank that women next to him, that took his middle seat.

Interesting that JT Genter from TPG had a different view - saying that the blocked seats were for any of the media guys that weren't in premium cabins - so he shouldn't have ended up in a middle seat. But don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, right?!

Maybe he did as Denali suggested on another thread and paid for himself to get the true story of Joe Average flying in Y and not the paid-for experience Qantas would have provided to get the glowing reports. JT must be feeling rather ratty by now.

My thoughts was if this was employer paid, I would be taking the rest of the week off with pay/time in lieu.

Ive done one long haul in Y for work and thats with a Changi stop over and 4 days extra leave (2 days allowed each way) - NEVER again.

Anyone notice how narrow that seat is? He isn't a big guy but if it weren't for the girl in the middle leaning against her boyfriend. They would be rubbing shoulders.

I thought that too, that hes not a big guy and it doesnt look like a lot of room left over.

Adam Hills is back tweeting about the sausage sandwich in the lounge so where is @JessicaTam
