Must have missed that in the feed, Leumas. No cheap flights or do you really want to fly in J? Almost a waste for such a short flight.

QF don't fly into OOL. JQ don't do J, TT don't do J, DJ do have "real" business seats!

If you wanted to fly to BNE I'm on the 11:00 DJ flight from SYD (booked in J).

Dfcatch also lands in BNE around the same time. I think another member does also but can't remember who off the top of my head.

If I say no further use for a comp upgrade then certainly worth burning.

However, since they can be applied to flights beyond your next assessment date (when they would expire if not utilised) you may be able to better use them. In which case it may be better to employ the ½ price upgrades - in this case, some 2,450 points each way.

The flexi fare you need to use these is from $279 one-way (Business is $429 o/w). (Just make sure Q class is available before booking.)

I will most likely (read: I am going to try my hardest to and it looks like a good chance) have a car that I can swing by BNE Airport to ferry up to 3 people down to Hilton @ Surfers.

There should be space for 2-3 rollaboards in the boot of the Mazda.

I think penegal, unless circumstances change, will automatically bags one of those spots.

Fly into OOL, and you'll be checked in and poolside at the HSP while the BNE bods are still negotiating the carpark to the hire cars/train!
