Not a problem. After I posted I mentioned the maxi taxi idea to SWMBO and received a very negative reaction. So I'm not sure what we're doing now.

I've chickened out of the Hilton SYD Diamond upgrade lottery and ticked the NOR1 boxes. Will keep checking the prices nearer the date.
Had a stay earlier this month booked by Shrek and was somewhat disappointed by the "King Deluxe Plus"

Meh ... while I have has some great upgrades at the Sydney Hilton and won't knock any back, just give me a comfortable sleep, lounge access, a complimentary breakfast and free internet and I'll be right.

(The only time I have used NOR1 was at the Rome Cavilieri ...)

I agree, given we'll be socialising for so much of our time there as long as the bed is comfortable and the internet works I'll be fine. Much more concerned about having a good time with fellow AFFers.

Trouble is, after my last stay at SYD Hilton and received a king suite whilst I was alone, my +1 just might be intolerable if I don't do it again ..........

I do not know where I will be staying as yet.

I was tempted to stay at the Park Hyatt, but it really is not that close to the Hilton. I may cave and book the Hilton, but notice that prices are actually not very good c.f. the Hyatt currently.

Plan B (or C) could be the Sheraton.

The finalised menu with updated seasonal choices will be posted soon.

Remember there is no cash bar - so we will be using a form on the table to order drinks etc. Please ensure you have CASH to pay for your drinks (to Mark or myself). There is no way around this so CASH is required. I will post a drinks menu later today.
