MR New Frequent Traveller Partner Redemption Rates

I'm a little bummed... I transferred 100,000 points last week and this would have certainly influenced my decision where to move them. Not to talk about the missing bonus. :(

Where does it say 1:1 is permanant?

By looking at this link, it's quite clear it is for march only for the 1:1. http://www.americanexpress.com/australia/membershiprewards/moretravel/all-offers.html

Hopefully I'm wrong though!

The staff are mistaken. Please read the MR wording. It is clear, and forms a legal offer. There are bonuses for March, in addition to the new levels, but the 1:1 ratio for 3 carriers plus the 1:2 for SPG seems to be long term.

Looks like Amex got it wrong. Read your link, then read my link. They are not the same offer.

I guess, to be safe, I'll have to move a year's worth of travel to the relevant carriers, this month.

The reason, I believe it make sense to leave it as permanent ( until the next change) is that SPG miles are worth abt 2c so 1:2 makes sense, and it costs 150k SQ points to fly SYDBKK on TG in F, and the same with TG, so the ratio should be equal

I wish the CEO of AMEX Australia can clarify this for us! I need to wait a month to see :)

I know but not sure what to do yet. Anyways I don't have much, only 30000 MR at the moment...I may just bite the bullet and transfer to VS flying club. Almost a one way Upper class for SYD-HKG with the 30% bonus.

Don't see how waiting is going to help. Option's lost if conversion rates revert in April.

Your a guru at this k3nnis so it should only take you 5 minutes to work out
i am happy to engage your services where do I sen the check for $5.50(I have included the gst)
Best FF program to redeem 2 Business Class Tickets to HNL

Thai @ 75k per *A return ticket

Pah, I just transferred 106000 miles to SQ last week to get me enough points to go around the world in J on Star Alliance (when I will ever find the time, I do not know).
Although I can't complain as over half of them were awarded to me courtesy of an error on the part of Amex and they have not deducted them... yet...

I cannot register my MH number, all other programs work fine.
Is there a trick how to do it or do you have to enter your number in a certain way (preceeding zeros etc?)

Don't put in MH in the front of the numbers...

I did read it and I also read it to the staff member. I was put on hold, come back and told it was definitely March only. I'm hoping here to stay, makes Cathay a great deal for me living near Cairns:) I believe with the change showing in the MR Wording it will be here to stay - or I am just high hoping ...:)
