New Amex statement credits

I think there is something wrong with my cards.

The last two targeted offers, the Langtons and this Apple Pay one both appeared on my Explorer, nothing showing in the Plat card. Surely you would think it would be the other way around.

Regarding the new 'Mobile Wallets offer' - Maybe I missed it, but where is the maximum merchant count applicable for this deal? For example, it was max 10 merchants per card for the Shop Small promo. I've read throughout the T&Cs and nothing jumps out, so can we assume this is unlimited?
And this could be a biggie…. I also can't find language stating that the promo is valid once per merchant. That could mean 33% off very large purchases (eg several $30 payments). Stacked with HN promo that could be very lucrative.

Nope one credit only - below from the T&Cs

  • Save the offer to your eligible Card and tap to pay with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Android Pay spending $30 or more on that Card, in one or more transactions, in store only by 27/12/16 to receive one $10 credit. Limited to the first 60,000 Cards to register.

Thank you for the link.

Received the offer on one card and manually registered the other two. No emails but now all showing as registered on the app.

I have been using Android Pay/Samsung Pay for a little while now on my phone and Gear S2. I do not know if it is much more convenient than using the card directly, particularly if using other loyalty cards (FB, WWR etc) as well.

It should be like the majority of credits and usuable only once.

Have to figure out which merchants actually have terminals which work with Amex contactless.

Your department stores and supermarkets = giftcard galore. Might do a test hit with one first...

Deliveroo and Foodora both accept payment via Apple Pay through their apps. Home delivery is often about $30

I registered my DJ card OK but I don't know how to tap and pay

** warning: luddite alert **

I'm the same. I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 7.1.2. Do I need to download any particular app?

I got this on my plat edge but not the Velocity Plat. My wife got it on her Velocity Plat. Registered on the supp cards and my Velocity Plat using the manual link but didn't get any confirmation emails. There's not a lot of consistency recently.

Took advantage of a BWS online offer. You have to use separate accounts to take advantage of 5OFF which is stackable when buying items $55 or more with the AMEX offer.

Bit blurry, but Gentleman Jack giftpack, Chivas and Johnny Double Black.
Genius thinks alike, I bought the Gentleman Jack glass set. :D

You need an iPhone 6 or newer to use tap and go Apple Pay. Earlier iPhones do not have a NFC chip.

I tied donatingto oxfam - did it on 6/13 cards but now I'm getting an error ,been like that for a week plus now...it's literally a case of shut up and take my money - but they won't

This has happened to me with Under Armour after 3 transactions. I looked on Ozbargain and sure enough someone there was having the same issue and was told that they'd used too many different cards. It might have been solved over the phone after answering security questions or they were also told there's nothing that can be done. I tried checking out as a guest but that didn't work either. I'll try on the wife's computer next.

Could your daughter use the VPay card OS anyway, albeit with a conversion fee?

Given the issues with VPay (a different email address per voucher etc) and the conversion fee (rip-off!) the Xmas offer by Coles makes a lot of sense.

Time to call the company secretary....

It does if you have the reloadable card already. I have two vpay that I was hoping to use overseas rather than wash here. I'll probably just use them for rates or Aldi etc now (that you've mentioned how bad the FX is).
