Only have 4 cards and think we will do 20 transactions today with that new list. Happened to be going up to the shops with the wife and kids for Xmas shopping. Perfect timing.

Just bought an XS card as a tester. Got email from AMEX instantly. All looks good.

It's at least a 40 min drive to my closest Westfield, but since this has worked I'll be taking all of my cards there as soon possible to make the rest of the purchases.

Even with the $4.95 activation fee + $5.95 delivery fee the price for this card posted is $85.90. A $14.10 discount on $100 is a very worthwhile discount for those that can't get to a Westfield.

PS. I had planned on cancelling all of my AMEX withing the next few days. But just when you think you are out they pull you back in again!

PPS. These AMEX discounts are starting to make the 5.5% WISH card discounts look very ordinary.

Thanks for the input. At the rate offers are coming in, there is no way to cancel any of my 9 Amex (including 4 supp).

All the new Amex deals were listed on OzBargain early this morning, so that's probably why.

According to Ozbargain, yes and no. One user said a "concierge" wouldn't do it but another reported success. Activation fee paid once. I'm sure there'll be updates and more success stories in the days to come....
