New Amex statement credits

I previously saved the Westfield offer on the DJ Amex and made a $100 purchase on the second day. Still have not received the credit. Now when I log in, I can't even see it in the saved offers section. Wtf???

With the Myers rebate all of my refunds have posted when I bought the Coles Myer GC in store. But the Myer GCs I have bought online have received no refunds (though I did get the $10 bonus GCs). Has anyone gotten their cashback for an line purchase? I note that the online purchase shows as : MYER CONSUMER GIFT CARD DOCKLANDS

It seems someone has manually gone through and sorted out the missing Westfield credits.

I did send Amex an online message and eventually got a response however it had already been sorted by the time they got back to me.

Does anyone else find the way Amex communicates to be a bit condescending? This one ended with "I trust I've put a smile on your face":..

Buying gift cards online from myer has had problems triggering the bonus previously.

Funny little story. SWMBO had to buy presents for 2 of the kids' secret Santa's, the other day. As the recipients were girls, she thought something nice from Bodyshop. Luckily she rang before she bought the 2x $19.95 soap packs. I said make it $50, Pay with the Amex and we get $15 credit. Turns out they had spend $60, get $10 off, spend $70, get $20 off, become a member and spend $80 and get $30 off. In the end she bought 3 x $19.95 soap packs + 1 x $24.95 soap pack for $84.90 less the $30 off = $54.90 and then $15 Amex credit brought it to $39.90 which is what she was going to spend anyway.

When she got home, I pointed out she had 4 Amex's and could have done the other 3 cards as well. At that point she started throwing soap at me

Success with Accor offer at the Sofitel this morning. Glad the offer was "one or more transactions" as they took $50 on check in and the rest on departure (total just over $200). Also asked nicely and they allowed us to pre-pay another booking for next year so credit achieved for that one too.

As long as your credit card is debited now, you should be fine.

Finally got my refund of $150 from myer: When I did the apple pay ( $10 credit) and bought $150 Coles Myer voucher ($35 credit) - the till crashed 1/2 way through and the lady said the first payment didn't go through. Had to go through their finance team in melb, took just over 2 weeks, but they found my extra payment. Had a pleasant surprise as well when I went in to get the refund, an extra $160 worth of myer vouchers as I mentioned to her about some buy $100 get $10 worth of giftcards that was on OZB that day. Turns out they erranoeonly put it on the websote that day and it wasn't meant to start, but she did it out of good will!

Asked my extended family if anybody wanted coles myer voucher at 20% off - $150 worth for $120 ( first choice liquor offer). Only 1 out of 6 went for it. Told them it's like 20% off petrol and fuel....still no bites. What is wrong with people!

Agree, people are often strange about these types of free money.

i've had more success selling people a $150 gift card for $150 then I've had for trying to offer it at $130.
