New Amex statement credits

Have an offer for $20 credit for spending $100 at woolworths online. Terms says excludes gift cards. Is this enforced? Do they even know what has been bought?

Another GC (Coles/Myer) at Myer. Had to go to the Lingerie department to find one. Email sent.

And another rebel GC. No email, but should credit later.

Feeling rather smug today. As the car needs new front tyres I took advantage of the amex Bob Jane 400/125 offer to construct a nice stack. These Michelins sell at around $205, but Bob Jane did a price match of $137 plus Michelin offering $50 if you buy 4. That's easy, 2 tyres can live with in the garage until needed and BJ will commit to fitting them later. Ends up at $373 or $93.25 each.
Thanks to BJ, Michelin and Amex for aligning the planets. :)

Yes as Gift Card purchase is actually separate and not through the same channel as groceries. The website is not the one listed for the rebate.

Received four new offers via email today on my Edge:

Harvey Norman: Spend 300, get 50
Woolworths: Spend 100, get 30
AAMI: Spend 400, get 120
Powershop: Spend 100, get 30

Tried registering my other cards however it says it's invitation only. Checked Amex website and the offers don't appear there - I have to manually register the card via the link in the email. No manual links on ozbargain either

Some pretty good deals there actually, nice one.

Wonder if they're cracking down through the use of personal invitations after the last few offers were fully subscribed within a matter of days.

Those could be quite lucrative, if anyone can generate a manual link and share...

Maybe.

But I have received various personal offers in the past ever since I gained my first Amex many, many years back(for both points and cashback). So this is not new.

The poster said that he had already tried his manual link for other cards and it did not work.
Referring to a sentiment I thought I heard once regarding cutting offer ID URLs to create generation pages. Just saying it would be nice, if possible, not that it necessarily is possible

Each of the links that I received have a unique ID on the end of it - I removed that and tried the link without the ID and it still wouldn't work.

https://offerenroll.americanexpress...ge?offer=72680WoolworthsOnline&language=en-gb (this is the link without the unique ID)

Give it a try but I can't get it to work.

Yep - I tried the link using my Reserve and this is what I get...

Unfortunately this campaign is by invitation only. Please visit http://www.amexconnect.com.au for other fabulous offers.
