New Amex statement credits

just a bit confused here as ive never done a HN statement credit

went to my local one and they had the sign of amex excluded from the offer
1. prepaid Visa Cards
2. Gift Cards

the young shop assitant was said the prepaids max is $300

is there is a $1000 version of this one? shop was in Victoria

I guess the best value is to get buy $1000 cards and spend spllit $350 per amex card

You can not get $350 vpay. The max is $300. So you need to buy two vpay. $300 and $50

I bought $300 twice to maximise amex points. Since already paid $5.50 fees twice =$11 so just maximize the points.

You can use vpay for any online bill. Strata. Deft. Council. Water. Any bills dont accept amex. Even ATO bills.

ahhh I see, so the best would be $300 cards , and splitting the payments into $350 increments,
a $5.95 on $50 card would be quite inefficient, and yes prepaid visa would be perfectly fine for me

Avoid split payment when purchasing vpay. Some operator not happy about it.

I had bought using 8 amex cards, they all $611 / transactions.

very good point,I
think i will take your advice and do $305.95x2, so $38 profit per card

For those of you using the Domino's offer don't forget to use promo codes. I bought some Domino's today and my Mum said it was better then local pizza shop. What the bloody hell have I done.

Traditional/Chef's Best prices range from $10.95-$14.95 depending on the store / pizza type = $5.48-$7.48 per pizza after the free one. Cheaper than the $7.95 or 33% off codes. Minimum delivery order $22. 10% surcharge Sundays.
Also, thanks to dickiee, you can also use it on Designa 4 topping pizza and then add a Hawaiian (or favourites range if they show at your store) which are as low as $8.95 (giving you 2 pizzas for $8.95 = $4.47ea), however some stores are $9.95 or $11.95 for Hawaiian. It means you are limited in pizza selection (some customisation possible), but it's another option.

Amex have been a bit quiet lately...nothing worthwhile appeared on the revised Amexconnect site.

Just a question, from peoples experience, when an offer says something like
"spend $20 or more, in one or more transactions, online only at www.dominos.com.au by 07/07/2017 "

Does that include spending ON the 7th?
cheers

Eating cardboard once in a blue moon isn't such a bad thing....and I do stress on once in a blue moon. It's not that vile but it's still no substitute for a proper pizza.

You are not supposed to eat the container. :p
