New Amex statement credits

For those looking to use AMEX online chat - it's working right now for me.

Not for me.

It did appear to be working 30 minutes ago, but once I imputed my text it came up " all operators are unavailable" and a large Close button.

Don't use that option.

Open your AMEX account and leave it idle. For me after about 2 minutes a chat icon appears in the lower right corner of the screen if I do nothing. Currently working for my Explorer and DJ AMEX accounts.

Thanks Dr Ralph

Worked well.

Problem solved

Victorians - remember that you can top up your Myki at 7-Eleven stores...

I believe same in NSW with Opal cards
I can confirm this.

Also, 7-11 sell a number of different gift cards, including Vanilla VISA, Westfield, Supercheap Auto and Event cinemas as well as their own. I purchased 1 x 7-11 gift card. You can add exactly $15 credit to that card.

If you would enlighten me with another option I would be most grateful.

Call them. In order to provide receipts they should furnish you with an email address or a form webpage to upload via, or some other means.

I've made statement credit enquiries via securemail in the past and was given a URL to upload attachments.

For me. If I use it for petrol once per all my cards. I would go thorough all my cards.

A bit fiddly but worth it

Does anyone know if you can effectively combine the current QF spend $350/get $50 offer with a travel credit?
I know the T&Cs say you must book at Qantas Online but I believe Amex Travel push the payment through Qantas’ merchant account anyway.
