Still having the same issues re logging me out.
This never happened once with Tapatalk

I get the dreaded not logged in. It really p!sses me off when you've composed a lengthy post then you go to post it, get the error, then the whole thing is gone. The number of posts that never posted are adding up, along with my frustration...

I now copy my post prior to posting. So if it doesn't post I can re login in and paste it back. Very annoying especially if I forget to do it!

Something I noticed using the app (iOS on iPhone): the thread will scroll to the first unread as usual, but then will load images after that. The effect is that the sizes of the images "push" the posts "down" and thus the point which you are reading actually goes up the page (i.e. you see older posts).

The more images on the page, the greater that the position you start reading is distorted.

This doesn't happen on a desktop because images are normally loaded and sized first before the scroll / anchor jump.

Anyone noticing the same thing?

It's not really an annoying bug. Just means that, for example the VA J meals thread, I almost always have to keep scrolling down quite a bit to get to my first unread post.

Yeap, I certainly notice this too. It's like the app gets it right initially, but then the images throw it out of whack!

Even the website was very slow to load this am, but seems to be ok now - it loads on my Android phone.

Agree but still one major issue is the system keeps logging out automatically after just couple of minutes, very annoying!

Stable for me too but unfortunately the bug that lands me in the middle of threads randomly has still not been fixed

The "cannot post" error is something that is a bug within the App.

The two screen shots are taken within seconds of each other when I appear to be not logged in or cannot post. Yet the App shows which threads I have participated in ???

Was also a bug in the old app, but seemed to occur less regularly -- I can only assume it's a login cookie/authentication set too short.

This happens whether or not I'm timed out in the App. Used to be the case that regardless of ability to post I could switch to the main site easily and still be logged in.
I have not changed any of my settings on AFF

Is there any indication that there is ongoing work to overcome the shortcomings of this app? I'm staying clear of it until there is some sign of improvement.
