JohnM, throw me your scraps.......Paringa Estate 2008!
The glass somehow looks different . Can't quite pin it down, though... .
I opened my 76 Grange on my 40th
Hmm, it's one of my two Riedel glasses and it has wine in it...not sure how you can get confused but I hear that comes with age
Photoshop? You'll keep, QF WP . The sticker is still on the other one, then?
Photoshop?
What? A man with 'two' Reidels and no alpacas? Bah never!Just the sort of thing that guy would do .

Maybe you should rephrase that one a little, JohnM? Or maybe not. What, of catching up . But you'll never be as juvenile as me .

Here's the wine list from QF9.
Galleries F has Taittinger Rosé and Prelude.
Any standouts in their line-up? Had a 2010 Bella's Garden at a restaurant in Noosa that was a standout. Posted a 2013 Angel's Share recently that was surprisingly oak dominant, even the next day. Nothing like the fruit forward 2012 Angel's (McLaren) and Gnarly Dudes (Barossa) I got for the cellar. How did you rate the Ares?
Both bottles had attended the Penfolds Clinics in 2000/01 and had good provenance. Hope you have yours well looked after...

Personally I liked the '13 Lily's over the Bella's. The Ares was awesome, but no way I could justify spending $165, or even the discounted $145.
As a side note, Mark advised us that they had just pulled their range from Dan's.
