Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Glad to read you loved it.
I have a couple in the cellar, not too early to drink now?
That’s subjective, this is my 3rd of 4 with a year between each and I am more than happy to be drinking it. Fraser (& tWF) indicates the little wines are a drink now wine, and it definitely drinks very well now. It will age gracefully but will it get better? I look at it like other multi vintage vines like NV Champagne etc.

Long weekend in Perth this weekend so a Sunday night lamb shoulder with these beauties. The Andre Clout only comes in a magnum and was stunning! Drinking well now but would easily cellar another decade. Might have to see if I can source more.

The two Bordeauxs were different but also similiar. OBviously one left bank and the other right bank. Both quite tannic and both IMHO need at least another 5 years.

Whoo Hoo!

Anyone got any JobKeeper payments left? :)
would 35% off help? :)

This thread is now read only for me and left to the glitterati to pass their wisdom down to the great unwashed .
Conceptually wine is for everyone, at every price point… others may gloat at such simplicity...such is life...
you mean that you're no longer drinking, or just not anything nice? :)

so this was IMnsHO.. a perfectly pleasant dry red wine, ex JD..

The Glitterati may tip it down the sink but many wine drinkers, along with moi, would have enjoyed..c'est la vie
