Better than Tscharke then?
And it says NV on the bottle? Does that mean blended across vintages?
88% Grenache Black
Grenache Blanc, Gris, or Noir?
I assume Blanc? If it was Noir, it would need to be free run juice with almost zero skin contact to get that hue in the glass.
In any case, I might try and pop by Eperosa when I am in the Valley this March.
Hey there AnzacPaul,Problem I have with bargain bins is i'm not experienced enough to know if it's a bargain or not.
A couple of years ago, before Covid truly hit and I became poor, I "invested" in some bulk purchases that I secured at very good prices. One of these was the Franklands Estate Isolation Ridge reisling. I crack one of these every six months or so. Will continue to do so over the next decade. I love mostly red wine, but this is, in my opinion, a great tipple.
The gamays from the Rutherglen district (just next door to Beechworth) are also great to try, I like Pfeiffers take on it.I haven't had an enormous amount of gamay in the past (and I haven't been a huge fan of what I have tried - Beaujolais mostly) but this was beautiful. Beechworth is a cracking region.

One of my favourite Coonawarra CS, just entering it’s drinking window.

Go to Dan Murphy and other wine deals thread.Perhaps nooby question, but where can I get the best wine deals? Is there a consensus on this? I trawl through local retailers, but have heard great deals are available online?
You mean search threads here, or look at specials with Dans? I find Dans confusing to use as a website. Hence me preferring to walk in and browse.Go to Dan Murphy and other wine deals thread.
