So we do have moon doubters and I am not the only one.I had been wondering about that.
Recently I have gone two Moet for bubbles and two MossWood reds and our groups have really enjoyed the dinners. Mrscove is our skipper for these events.
i must ask the Uni Club in Crawley will allow byo with a corkage charge.

Notes posted here Grand Cru (Perth) Tasting Group – Bordeaux Blends from 2016 - The Auswine Forum

The Nightfall was mine and the groups WOTN. The Cullen showed really poorly and faulty IMHO....almost like it had been buried with the cow horn full of poop.

Yes @Daver6 I have had a couple of bottles fail. Had the DM replaced. Have been happy with the 2020 MossWood and now have only two left.
The group I took 2 bottles to thought the MossWood was a winner.

You drank the Cullen on the wrong day of the year - how did you expect to enjoy it when you disrespected it

My bad. Forgot that the moon wasn't shining up Uranus

Exactly, when it does the wine will taste a bit better

HAH - beat me to it...

Tell us more about this @boomy?

Ben the winemaker is an interesting guy. He used to work in the retail wine industry in NSW until he moved to Barossa and decided to make wine. He advertised on Gumtree that he was looking to buy grapes and that’s how it all started according to him, buying grapes from random growers and experimenting with different blends until he finally released his first wine called Dero. The 2020 vintage got good review from Mike Bennie who also discovered Fraser from Sami-Odi. That’s how I first heard about Phase III and after ordering his wine I was impressed.

For the 2021 vintage Ben released another wine called Le Bomb on top of his second vintage on Dero. @Buzzard and I went to visit him few months ago and got to taste some of his other experimental wines which he may or may not release in the future.

Ben is a top bloke who makes good wine and it’s a pleasure to support nice and humble winemakers like him.
