Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

I believe most of you already know my dear old friend Dan. He sent me this today, and I couldn't help myself. As noted in the DM thread, the rest of the order needs a good lie down.

There are quite a few sub $50 wines I'd pick ahead of this one..glad I didn't pay full price. While OK, the bottle I tried recently didn't leave a lasting impression so will revisit next year to see if there's been any improvement..

Agree. Not bad but nothing special. Ok for the discounted price and hopefully will become better in a few years.

At $50 that is not what I want to hear about a wine. There are plenty of great Australian wines in the $20-$40 range, $50+ wines need to be special.

True. It doesn't worth the full price tag but is much better value at $26 after the DM discount.

Some of you may recognise this bottle from a certain wine tour earlier this year ;)

This full flavoured Cab Sav is ready to drink!

Coming to the end of a lovely Sunday/Monday bottle. For a straight Grenache, has not suffered at all from being held back a couple of years from release
