Good but too young. I keep forgetting Yarra Chards need time… Had two glasses and the rest on following night. Significant improvement.

Giant Steps are doing great things at the moment, Applejack is a great site as is the cough Hill vineyard they recently nabbed.
On chardonnay, I had the 2021 Giaconda the other day and that is ridiculously good.

Wow! I found this buried in a store room in Falls Creek. So it had had most of its life at around 10 degrees or less.

It was superb. I am usually not very good at describing wines but this had definite apricot and sultana flavours. The cork disintegrated on opening but it hadn’t leaked through. I reckon the wine could have lasted another few years.

Celebrating tonight. Saw MrsTMA’s oncologist today. All clear. Pretty remarkable result from stage 4 metastatic NSCLC in December 2022!

Cork fell apart but wine perfect.

Damn good reason to celebrate. Slightly concerned that your steak looks really under-prepared t hough. Looks like the food to feed your food really.
