We were there last June and only got rain on our last day.
anyone been to tokyo in june?
i'm hearing its quite rainy and humid - so not necessarily the best time to visit?
Good thing I am planning to spend the Sunday indoors.I've spent around a dozen Junes in Tokyo, and no, it's not pleasant.
"Average" rainy season runs June 8 to July 21. First day has ranged between June 3 and June 10 the past five years.
What time is everyone thinking of starting this lounge crawl?
I'm thinking of booking MH71 NRT - KUL departing 21:40 - not sure what time I can get airside...

Ditto for meI will be aiming for mid-afternoon, as long as OLCI works.
There are no award seats on CX or JL in the evening to any city. There is a one-way flight HND-SYD-BKK on QF all the way for ~AUD950 but that could be torture and it is a different airport?
I'll keep searching for award availability.
I will be coming in on the 10th on the train from KIX. Looking forward to a pre-do do.So who's going to be in Tokyo the night before (i.e. 10 June)?
Any interest in getting together for a meal?
QF62 & 511 booked. Cheers.
I called Qantas last night and they informed me that there was no way for me to check my bag early. Can anyone contradict them?
Sorry to hear that.Gold->Copper now. Argentina vs Brazil 9 June @ MCG got me today...Narita will be next time
I doubt they would survive. I have a 3 hour layover in BNE, and a four hour drive after I get to MEL.Jessica don't forget to pick up Royce chocolates from the kiosk at Narita. They are in the fridge and it is best to store them in the plane fridge on your return to Australia.
