Start with delta diamond and work your way around . If you read it's really not that difficult

I only have iPhone connection ATM markis has outlined the links at the top of the page. Simply match the status around the carriers until you hit AA . They will match your premier 1K with their executive elite which is equal to oneworld emerald

yes we all know about status matches. But how did you get elite status on Delta to start with? Did you complete 100,000 miles with them or the 100 flights you need to get the original status? Or how did you get it? Please share :)

Status means nothing to Jetstar.

The only good thing is you can use the QF lounge.

You get nothing else

You get nothing at all
To be specific - nothing 'else' (Other than use the QF lounge).

Even when on QF code, even when booked as part of a QF premium fare, and even when QF forces you onto JQ through no choice of your own.

You're SOL as the posters have advised.

I have my AA executive platinum from a status match with my premier 1k of course ;)

Doesnt matter what price you pay jetstar is marketed as a oneworld partner its on the qantas website
Apologies if I have missed the huge announcement that JQ has been accepted as a member of Oneworld.

So I am entitled to lounge access with my AA membership when flying jetstar. I thought it was written on the qantas website oneworld emerald are entitled to lounge access plus one guest when travelling on a oneworld parnter or marketed .

I also rang today to match my airNZ elite status with qantas

Yes but you can only use the chairmans lounge, just show your JQ boarding pass and your aa card and you'll be fine.

you are indeed correct. Lounge access is permitted when travelling on a oneworld partner or oneworld marketed flight.

just that jetstar is not either of those.

still interested to know how you started with the delta elite status :)

Good luck - if in the unlikely event that it comes through then you will indeed be able to access those lounges you referred to in the OP!

... still no 'free' checked luggage though ...

So what will you do when you are denied access to the lounge as per the QF website, which is explicitly clear that OWE (non-QF) are not entitled access?

As per QF status matching, you have more chance of hell freezing over.

I would say that there is more chance of getting into the lounge (slim) than getting the status match (approximately zero)!
