Finally received an email from Optus yesterday and Qantas today. Apparently I will be receiving 3,000 bonus points. I thought I only had prepaid mobile broadband.

Actually I am now finding Vodafone is quite OK.In Geraldton for some reason it worked a lot better than Telstra.I have since used it in Burnie and now Broken hill without a problem.Much easier to manage than Telstra.
It has been a while since I used Vodafone. I went through 9 months of pain. I still have the new dongle they sent me which was useless at the time. Not sure if I can still use it but I will more than likely need a new sim. Could be worth trying Vodafone again if there is no upfront cost.

Called the fam both got the email. My sister has got 4,000pts. Mum needs to read it again as she noted it was ending and didn't keep reading.

My family are loooong time Optus customers.

My second number is 10yo and my dad has my old one which would be about 15yo, my sister and mothers would be easily 20yo

I just realised that whilst I hae 2 iPhones on an Optus contract (so 1K points there), our WiFi at home is in my wifes' name. Excellent, more points :D - better go and check her emails

Received my email today, 4000 points coming my way :D

I have phone, home and broadband with Optus and have been with them for nearly 8 years. I won't be leaving them as QFF points was not a deciding factor when I contracted to them.

We have four phones but only 1000 bonus.

Right - i am calling tomorrow to ask where my email is AND ask why there is discrepancies between the bonus points!

Call em out on their ****e!

Speaking for myself,
I have both an IPhone & IPad both on 24 month contracts ( with about 18 months left in both).

Ive received the "2000 bonus QFF points email" from both Optus & Qantas.

Not exactly a vote winner in my book to keep me loyal to Optus.

If I knew 6 months ago that Optus we're going to pull the pin on the QFF points.... I would have pulled the pin on Optus.

500 bonus points for me. Pretty good considering I've made about 3 x$30 recharges on a pre-paid mobile number. Might switch the daughter over to Vodaphone.

It would be appear the bonus points are not related to the number of services one has with Optus (as has been wrongly suggested by some) but some random number of 500 QFF points, 1000 QFF points, 2000 QFF points, 3000 QFF points and as revealed recently 4000 QFF points.

3000 Bonus Points for me, both outlined in separate emails from Optus & Qantas - Really wonder how this bonus is calculated...

My iPhone/iPad contracts end in June, but I'll pull the pin on both come August 1 once I see the points in my account. Looking at Optus Prepaid for now while I assess my options.

Just got my e-mail this morning from Qantas, 2,000 points offered. Recently re-contracted for 12 months, but may look at other options now when that's up.

Okay no phone call made as yet- I received an email from Qantas, but no bonus points mentioned in that.

What was the timing between the two emails? I am thinking I should be expecting the Optus email today?

Same: Qantas email just before, but no bonus points mentioned.

4000 bonus points for me. It's definitely nothing to do with status as I am bottom-tier.

and where the ~ stands for:
