What's your point? All of those were in response to the idiotic statements made about the current government. The personal attacks on Gillard et al., to demonstrate that both sides are the same. Precisely as I stated 2 or 3 posts ago, a response to personal attacks to demonstrate hypocrisy. I'm not saying black is white here. The opposite in fact. Do try to follow.

One thing remains a constant the right wing's inability to critically assess those who they support. Abbott has implicitly supported killing the PM. Abbott denied a pair for a mother to be with a sick child (supporting the family). Yet Gillard would do anything to get power? We hear about the bungled schemes of this government but nothing about Abbott's dental scheme that went over budget by 1000%. He is not an unknown, he has history. All I'm asking is that you lot stop fighting past wars and try to assess the future. Your inability to do that makes your statements here relatively meaningless.

The Prime Minister will probably stage some media thing with Peter Slipper to show her continuing (and so far not cut) support for him and I'm sure she'll enjoy recounting her Speaker's comments re, um, female anatomical parts? What were his words again, whatmeworry?? And she's still doing appearances with Kyle Sandilands. Remember his comments?

Anyone believe she's sincere about her attacks on the Libs re sexism??

Edit: For me it isn't competing comments on 'sexism', its that the PM seems to have these great ideas for attacking Abbot / Libs where her own performance is so easily ridiculed. PM best to be dignified.

Well Gillard scored a few points with her misogynist speech so no doubt the bean counters are thinking this is a good strategy. I don't like her brand of feminism though. Berating men is not the way forward. Now they can't even wear blue ties.

And in fairness that menu was simply disgusting. But as it had nothing to do with Abbott we may not hear any more about it. He is the target it seems.

Good behaviour and values are modeled from adults / the CEOs / the leader. Abbott has shown everyone there is no need to show any respect for the office since he stood in front of those disgusting signs he endorsed.

If it's not the leader, I wonder who else is responsible for demonstrating civilised actions. It's been downhill all the way for a long time.

Abbott HAS made comments about his thoughts on contraception and abortion, it's a fact that he does not support a choice, how can he w' his religion, and most of those Catholic private school blokes potentially on the front bench, oh and the 2 only women. If Madigan from the DLP gets the balance of power in the Senate as Harridine did, I predict Abbott pandering w' gusto.

I've stayed away from this thread due to what I have seen as the overwhelming bias and illogical irrational comments. I'd like to see some respect come back into politics, but I think Abbott's 'violence of language' has quoshed it.
