Well good for you so as we move into the last week will you at least agree that if the result pans out as expected the majority of the country want the coalition in power so TA has a right to govern and we should all support him for the good of the country.
Sure. In the same way you "support" Gillard and Rudd "for the good of the country".

I fail to see why I should change my opinion about person X and their policies just because a bunch of people voted for them.

IMHO their best policy is the removal of the ALP and their union masters from ruining this country.

Of course not everyone will agree with this statement.......but I can live with 54%:D

Right so how do you/they stop ruining the country by implementing all the ALP policies?

We all have to share the tax burden. I'm actually very pro taxes that everyone pays, it doesn't seem like a ludicrous tax

Because it will affect you?

You'll find that I labelled your view of me as ludicrous not the tax. In your ludicrous view of me it won't affected me. But reality is very different to your views.

Actually I did a google search when you first asked the question and there was nothing about this alleged plan. There's no conspiracy of silence medhead. Just nothing to report.

It was reported by the SMH. I came to ask the rabid Abbott supporters here if they were able to verify the report. Shouldn't have bothered because apparently they have no idea about Abbott's policies. They just vote for him after all.

Only 5 more sleeps.

Or you could answer the question. Exactly how does the coalition stop ruining the country when they are implementing all the ALP policies? Given that Abbott wants to copy all the ALP policies, this is all about Abbott's quest for power.

I already have....go back and take a look.

LOL Implementing all the ALP policies......what a joke!

That's like asking Rudd supporters if he plans on resigning if/when Labor loses, then bagging them for not responding, when they cant respond as they simply don't know! Then bagging them again but it shows they don't know his policies (or in this case, his intentions)

There's not been one report of this except, on your word, the SMH which I don't read.

As far as quests for power goes, I think history will show the last five years have been nothing but exactly that.

For Abbott and Gillard, yes.

Not for Rudd.

He wanted revenge.

And it didn't matter if he took the whole ALP down along with Gillard.

Spot on.

Rudd has been a pox on the house of ALP. Gillard and the losers that backed her into the job are also in the same league......Billy must be flat out of friends.

Re: Where will you be election day (September 14th)

Peta Credlin must be kicking herself for letting her boy loose to go on 730 tonight, astonishingly cringeworthy performance. And to think we're likely to have three years of this gormless buffoon - unless Rupert's Coalition gets smart and moves Malcolm into the job of course.

Not a joke at all. Abbott is adopting ALP policy left right and centre. Excpet when it comes to crazy policy. Direct Action, massively expensive, unfunded PPL, BUY BACK THE BOATS. He is either ALP policy or he is crazy random cough. He claims to believe in the market - well except when it comes to direct action. If you want a joke look at Abbott, what exactly does he stand for besides grabbing power?

Pushka I'm sorry if you can't understand simple concepts. It is nothing like asking about the personal plans of the figure head at all. It is called checking the facts with the very people who should know the policies best. Perhaps you should go an research your preferred candidate instead of making up bizarre analogies. Then you might find out what a massive joke Abbott is pushing.

Why taxes would rise under Abbott

And all this is before we get to Labor's as-yet-unlegislated tax rises, which Abbott has quietly indicated he would proceed with: extra revenue of almost $10 billion over four years from measures to ''protect the corporate tax base'', cut research tax breaks, increase cigarette tax and impose a levy on savings accounts.

Indeed you are clearly a raging zealot for Abbott. Ignoring the facts about what the man stands for, nothing beside a blind grab for power. If the ALP was truly the disaster he claims, he wouldn't be adopting all their policies.

Refer to my early post regarding - RABID, PPL and other parties policies!

LOL they all do it....as per the above reference to earlier posts!

To bring you back to reality - take a look at the ALP policy on boat people and offshore processing;)

Since you've seem to have forgotten - the whole reason the ALP created their very own Malos Annis is because they followed the looney tunes policies of the Greens.

The zealotry of trying to deflect and distract whenever the failings of the object of your affection are mentioned. Abbott is the one that will be PM, he is the one that needs to be put under the microscope. The current government is irrelevant. (refer back abut 1000 posts where I already stated this)

Sad, just sad!

So glad when the election is over and people will just go into their corner for three years and sulk.
