Lots of lovely places, I have been to Paris 6 times and never tire of wandering the streets and I love a good street market, one of my favourite things to do in France.
Loving all the photos and food cough!

We are booked to stay just off the square in September, and agree it is a lovely church. Sometimes there is a market in the square on Saturdays. Our 7th visit too this year - can never get enough of Paris.

Nice location. You might be interested in a local restaurant we stumbled across - one of the best meals of the trip.

Whilst waiting for Luxembourg Gardens to open we stumbled upon this fantastic little bistro - Le Bon Saint Pourçain

It's tiny! We were lucky in that we were flexible with our time and could come back after 2pm for lunch.... if you eat here I'd be making a reservation. The place was overflowing with locals.

On a correct weight basis - this was the best meal of the trip. The menu is a blackboard changed daily for lunch and dinner - incredible value. Since there was two of us, and two options for each course - prefect.

quite a good price for the quality

Indeed.. looks a really good find , will keep it in mind for lunch one day

Thanks @amaroo...

Just a short walk from the restaurant is the Panthéon. Was once a Church, now it's the resting place for prominent citizens. You get some good views of Paris from here...

Short walk from here takes you to a familiar landmark.

Notre Dame from the other side. Apart from a Seine cruise this is as close as one can get.

It looked much better than I expected. Will be interesting to see what they come up with .... some of the designs I’ve seen look very glassy and modern.

If you don't like gardens or flower photos - you better look away....

With a hotel car / driver sorted we set off for Giverny - Claude Monet's house for 43 years.

Giverny is just over an hour's drive out of Paris and I recommend squeezing this into a Paris / French itinerary. I'm no green thumb and I'm not known for taking flower photos, but WOW ..... this place is beautiful.
