Green because you actually had a QF flight booked for that day, as opposed to being a naughty WP trying to gain entry, gasp without flying that day.  :p
Don't be nasty. ;) I am hiring a car this weekend and was thinking of dropping it off at the airport instead of the city. But then I remembered about anytime access. :(

Just say you didn't realise there was a change to the system! act dumb!

No 'acting' required. :p

It would also appear that drewbles is in BNE on Saturday at 15:00 but I need to drop off one car and hire another around that time. ;)

That I am, actually taking my freebie Amex flight (else it'd be DJ).

So it's been around 60 hours since the culling. How are the 'crowded' lounges? anyone noticing vast amounts of space and tranquility?

Anyone seen Red Roo or was he booked on DJ and not allowed access :P

(So nice of RR to be so vocal in proclaiming that thanks to our feedback they're glad to 'enhance the enhancement' with access to DOM and INT lounges providing you've arrived on a QF flight that day, only to have it snuck in as DOM only; I'm flying with a friend in March o/s on a non-QF airline, but they're flying in on QF, that means I have to slum it in the International terminal without lounge access for the first time in 10 years  (said semi tongue-in-cheek)).

This really irks me. But I guess it is not really fair to blame Red Roo as he was probably given then wrong information.

Very disappointing QF has done a back flip and removed arrivals access to international lounges.

Has anyone tried getting in AFTER their flight?

Just landed in PER- flashed WP card only (no boarding pass only docket) at QP.

Lounge Lady took a good look at the card like she'd never seen one, and then waved me through.

Did not scan card

There is nothing wrong with that.

The change page still indicates access, I suspect something has got lost in translation:

Frequent Flyer - Member Specials - Latest News

‡ From 1 February 2011, to access Qantas Domestic or International lounges, Platinum members must be travelling the same day on a flight that shows a Qantas (QF), a Jetstar Airline (Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) or Valuair (VF)) or a oneworld® flight number on your ticket.

A flash of the card got me into MEL QP this morning.

I agree that Red Roo was relaying what he was told and it probably too  to come back!

Being on the bottom rung of a large company, I know what he must be dealing with in terms of communication...

So do we go by the revised terms and conditions or the change page?

To some people it is a fairly important oversight.

Print out a copy of that page and take it with you until things get changed!

Go by what the lounge overlords decide on the day. Be happy if you get in, but don't bleat and carryon if you get denied on a particular day. Bleating will just get the word of the t&c's enforced to all and sundry.

I certainly will be taking a printout of that with me in March. It'll mean we get access to at least the J lounge before the longhaul to Europe!

Along with a printout of section 3.2 of the QFF T&Cs relating to the six month period of notice required for changes.

Unfortunately, I think 3.2 is irrelevant. It relates to changes in the QFF T&C. Lounge access is granted under the QC program for which platinum QFF members are given free membership. Changing the QC T&C does not change the QFF T&C hence 3.2 is not active.

I hope that makes some sense as I barely understand it myself.

Are you saying I should take one for the team if I am refused entry on the day even though the terms and conditions say I am allowed entry? ;)

Anyway, it is not my style to bleat and carryon....
