Yes he can but wondering given its a domestic flight if he will even be asked, given theyve removed the Enter SA stuff requirement.
Who’s going to ask. And who’s going to answer. No one

They will do the right thing and get tested again, likely with RAT as they are bringing some back from the UK. Well, I told them to bring them back! But you know what kids are like...Who’s going to ask. And who’s going to answer. No one

Not sure how sitting in the bathroom makes a lot of difference. Its not as though she only got infected in the seconds before the test.Just dont test mid flight

But admirable sentiment.
Ah yes I didnt notice it (probably because I have an optical filter for any of that Junk), And by definition, any post on TT would immediately discount the veracity of her story.......plenty of clicks
Allowed to go home first then RAT.testing yourself in the terminal
Where does it say you have to do the test at home? What I’m reading says you have to do it as soon as practicable after arriving in NSW. It does say you have to isolate at home until receiving a negative result.Allowed to go home first then RAT.
If you decide to RAT in the aircraft toilets you will still need to RAT after arriving home
But in reality who is going to check.
I wonder if arrivees get given a free RAT on arrival?
It does not but it does say - go straight home or to accomodation and self isolate until a negative test. And it mentions that a RAT test is a self test that can be done at home.Where does it say you have to do the test at home

Basically a moot point - do it anywhere.
Though the idea is to account for those who will be positives because they will have to go straight home. So simplify the message for everyone
Covid is worldwide. Is there anywhere in the World without Covid or significant Covid
(Apart from under the sea)
How does pre travel testing make any difference.

In MEL I got given a pack of 5 RAT tests last night after collecting my bag when I went through customs. Though whether they keep doing that remains to be seen.I wonder if arrivees get given a free RAT on arrival?
It does provide some kind of barrier for those on the plane that at least within the last 72 hours everyone has tested negative. Given the size of international planes that is somewhat reassuing. Especially for kids who can't be immunised. It isn't perfect of course but it is something.Because it suits nationalistic agendas. “Border Controls” subconsciously lead people to believe the blame is external, rather than an issue for state health systems.
Family arrives next Friday night. Hopefully the same procedure applies. In MEL I got given a pack of 5 RAT tests last night after collecting my bag when I went through customs. Though whether they keep doing that remains to be seen.
I was also earlier handed an information sheet dated NYE explaining that rapid tests at home are acceptable. An older version of the information sheet from 20th December was in the RAT box from back when PCR was still required.
