The good news is that American Express is still offering bonus points via referral. That is still the best way to get bonus points on American Express cards.


If you collect Qantas points and prefer to fly Qantas, these are the cards for you. The best deal for Qantas is the Qantas Ultimate Amex with 80000 points with free Qantas domestic flights thrown in.

Otherwise you can look at the Qantas Premium Amex for bonus 50000 points with 2 free Qantas Club lounge passes every year.

Or if you don't want to pay annual fee, the Qantas Discovery Amex is for you, with bonus 15000 points with no annual fee.
