Looks awful. If that's classified as "standard breakfast" then I much prefer the "confusing" French toast breakfast.

For interest only....

We caught the above flight to SYD to catch QF11 to LAX......we flew back on QF8 to BNE from DFW.

It's is a mix of 3 standard breakfasts. As such confusing, regardless of taste, as to which it is trying to be.

Are you complaining about this breakfast? If so I find it ridiculous.

Both myself and my travel companion really enjoyed it and neither of us found it confusing. I didn't see any other confused passengers in the 767 business class cabin either.

I believe medhead was saying the food was confused, not the pax.

Confused food. Now I've heard it all. Its a petty complaint. This is one of the few meals (breakfast) that Qantas domestic business class is doing right

My reading of the author's opinion is that the food was confused in that it was trying to be several different dishes but not hitting any of them on the button.

I felt the food was not confused at all and blended perfectly

I agree, I thought it was tasty (delicious is a bit far) but it did seem like a strange combination...

Meal: Glass noodle prawn salad or pumpkin soup or cheese selections.


Glass noddle was slightly undercooked I think. Dressing was nice and the J cabin smells like garlic for the rest of the flight

Here's another one from earlier today:

Meal: Roast beef and potato salad or Coconut soup or Gourmet cheese


Roast beef salad – nothing to write home about.

But the coconut soup was the real winner for us today! That name simply doesn't do it justice. This thing is super tasty. Very similar to Tom Kha in flavour but using coconut cream instead of coconut milk so might be a bit heavy for some.

Out of 4 pax in J cabin no one ordered the soup until CSM offered a taste to one of the passenger. As soon as it was poured the cabin smelt so good no one declined when she made the same offer to the rest of the J passengers hence the cup

Warm Beef Salad - quite nice and would have it again. The cake thing was soaked in a honey type sauce (bit too sweet for my taste but still good).

Other options - Laksa like soup (I'm guessing its pictured in the above post) OR Cheese box with 3 cheeses.

Salad of Risoni, roast vegetables and some kind of cheese. Cake was nice and had a passion fruit sauce - very nice.

Thai glass noodle & prawn salad - good but the noodles were undercooked and slightly crunchy. Dessert was carrot and something cupcake.
