Some of the International J meals seem to be rather larger portions and does seem to me anyway to be an improvement
Oh I forgot that I took a photo of the return flight meal QE 1907 on 8 March 2024.
Also on the E190 - but this time, no water offered on boarding. Again, I had eaten a few snacks in the lounge prior to boarding so did not think I would bother to eat. But then I saw the pax across the aisle get this Plowman's Plate, and I thought - hmm looks yummy, why not. Mr Seat 0A evidently agreed as he also chose this light meal. It was very good. I was offered bread, but declined.

I enjoy eggs for breakfast, but a little variety would be nice to accomodate those who don't want an egg based meal.offered scrambled eggs, quiche or frittata,
May I ask what was so bad with the curry? Looks a bit dry maybe but curries usually go well on airplanes. Was it the meat quality? The sauce? Too much rice?QF489 SYD - MEL
Thai Pork Curry - the worst thing I've eaten on a plane. Took one bite and that was it. Awful. Service was also pretty poor. CSM was quite rude
Surely they can't be that stupid to serve that up, or leave that out like that.Saw this post on Reddit which I think sums up QF SYD int J lounge
Wow- I would love to think that this cannot be true but a.) that lounge is generally terrible and I wouldn't put it past them and b.) it does look like the Sydney Domestic J lounge at first glance. Truely a new low if it's indeed real and they put it out like that.Saw this post on Reddit which I think sums up QF SYD int J lounge
Slow cooked, spiced ribs are delicious (I'm thinking the Chinese soft ribs served at many yum chas), but I wouldn't serve them on a lounge buffet.Wow- I would love to think that this cannot be true but a.) that lounge is generally terrible and I wouldn't put it past them and b.) it does look like the Sydney Domestic J lounge at first glance. Ah, no.Here you go - words not needed.
I agree that this a deliberately unflattering example, however in my experience the hot food offerings have looked like that on more than one occasion, for long periods of time.Which can happen in any lounge with a buffet.
