I chose the prawn salad which was excellent and the steak which was tough as old boots. The chocolate desert was delicious.

Prior to boarding QF59, I flew MEL-SYD on QF426 at 9am. Again very good service from CSM Linda; addressed by name throughout the flight. Brunch choices were fruit salad, frittata or bacon and egg on Turkish. I had the bacon and egg roll which I distinctly remembered eating in the past from a cardboard box in Y. Serving it on a plate with a sprinkling of rocket and cold roasted tomato on the side did nothing whatsoever to improve the industrial flavour of the B&E roll….
