Excellent service from CSM Libby and FA Amelia.

No PDB (I assume this is the standard for short hops now)

Had the seared beef and quinoa salad for lunch. Beef itself was a little bland but tender enough, and the accompanying salad was very tasty, count this one as a win. The other options were teriyaki chicken and a pumpkin soup.

Had the West Cape Howe Frankland Shiraz 2021 ($21 from the winery), nothing earth shaking but pleasantly smooth without aggressive tannins, and was a good match with lunch. Serafino sauv blanc was the other wine choice.

Yes. And Ian was a gem. Very personalized.

Wished I went for the fish but had fish in the lounge earlier.

QF35 today was fairly decent.
Dumplings and kimchi starter was good when it came out. Only had Neil's greens before turbulence put the cart away for a bit.

The snapper and scallops main was actually pretty stand out. Not often you'll hear me say that about anything on a plane, let alone fish.

Service in the cabin was topper. CSM Ian (big shout out) and his colleagues kept my cognac and pinot noir (I was surprised to be honest, don't often see one on QF J) topped up the whole way - kept dozing off and waking to find a full set of glasses.

Good to know, we are on this flight Friday, if available, I hope to have that. SWMBO won’t as she can’t have shellfish.

That looks pretty good!

Lack of topping up a glass annoys me and it seems to have become an enhancement on SQ of late, soon as the meal service is finished they cannot take your glass away fast enough.

The +1 was on QF9 a few months back and also said her wine glass was kept full and never whisked away

Quite enjoyed this breakfast ( apart from the eggs which were almost solid 😀). Spinach with mushrooms and potatoes were nice. Other choice was frittata with sausage and tomatoes.

If you hadn't said "eggs", I would have gone with "pumpkin scone" 😲

I don’t mind that .
I’m a lightweight .

. I went off exploring the plane I came back to another drink ahhahaha I finished it . I returned it to galley and said no more drinks for me please.
 
I’m always very discreet when this happens too. Benefit of the Rimowa with the soft outer sleeve. The cabin crew took pity on my recent movements and gave me one on Tuesday
I asked for some chocolate to share with my sister at home and they gave me a cup of Lindt and Kitkat chocolate towards end of flight !

They look after us well!
