USA flights are not showing on system yet even though they start being eligible from 1st July 2013

Yeah, I looked at chauffeur drive the other day, our suburb is one of two in Canberra which is just outside the free range. The annoying thing is if I walked to my local shops I would be within range.

25km is just not quite far enough to cover all of CBR, 27km would be, which is still a much smaller area than most other cities provide.

Though I'm 114km away so 54km over the Mel limit. $2.80/km still good value compared to paying full hire charge.

Correct. My LAX-MEL on 9th July isn't active as yet, however my MEL-DXB-LHR//MAD-DXB-MEL in August is available to book.

My Mel-Syd-Sin and Sin-Bne-Mel flight in 3 weeks has Chauffeur Drive accepted for the booking, called 131313 and its all fine. Just have to pay the extra Km's

Refer to my post I am going to Sin and Chauffeur drive is available. In my bookings, there will be a 'Customise My Journey' section, select request/change it is located within. If it is available it will be there, check it out

Looks like the Chauffer Drive is up and running for bookings to the States.
I have two bookings over the next 6 months in J and have successfully booked both.

Sorry, forgot to add that Santiago is also showing as eligible Chauffeur Drive. Have a mate heading over in August. I guess seeing that it starts from July 1, it was only a matter of time before it started showing.

Flights to Asia are not eligible for chauffeur drive, according to the QF announcement, because their duration is too short. As an aside, why would you want it in HKG, when the Airport Express is MUCH faster than a car could ever be? (Presuming your destination is either Kowloon or Central, of course).

That's correct. It is only eligible for 12 hour duration or more. Don't necessarily agree with it, considering you get get chauffeur drive through Emirates to NZ. At least you could last year. May have changed....??????!!!!

Totally agree about the HK end, dont need anything there..

If they had the chauffeur drive then it would save me a car in Sydney both ways to/from home

Not sure if this is normal, but Mrs B and I had a chauffeur drive booked for our flights on QF9 tomorrow (originally flying J), then our upgrade to F came through (first time in F - very excited), but this apparently generates an automatic cancellation of the booking to the Chauffeur company, presumably because of the class change. Thank goodness they called to check if we meant to cancel. Could have been a mini disaster!! (definitely first world problems )

It came through at midnight (T-39). Woke us up but I couldn't be too annoyed! Good luck with the request.
