If you went through this link:
http://www.qantas.com/bonusapril

and were already logged into qantas.com and it gave you a confirmation then you should be OK (would also check you spam filter that its not blocking Qantas emails)
In prior experience Qantas will also send a confirmatory email.

Got the QF e-mail when Double SC offer came out from QF. Registered, but no confirmation e-mail from QF.

I went through above link and got a confirmation e-mail this time.
Hmm, will be interesting to see how this works out....

I also got the double sc offer, clicked the register button & registration complete, screen shot it, saved it, but now reading this thread i logged into my ff account, clicked onto the link & registered again, & now have a comfirmation e-mail saying im registered.

Exactly the same with me. Hmm...

Ive just called them and they can only confirm i've been targetted and not confirming that i've registered properly. I have not recieved an email stating i've registered even just then reclicking the link.

I hope these points post soon! As i've specifically booked the extra flights for the double SC promo!

Has anyone's bonus points posted yet?

Oh great.

I never got any confirmation e-mail either, like others I just clicked register and was taken to a page that said you've registered. Then I booked.

I hope this doesn't void my flights, as the offer was the whole reason I took them.

Just called QF.
Even though l didn't get a confirmation e-mail from QF when l first registered, l am eligible for the DSC Promo.
If in doubt, l'd suggest a call to QF.

I just called QF as well, they said they could see that I was targeted and everything was fine, and that my SC's should post within 6 weeks.

I mentioned I never received a confirmation e-mail and she said it didn't matter. As long as you clicked the Register button in the e-mail and were taken to the confirmation link the credits should post fine.

Still... the whole thing seems a bit flakey, hasn't really inspired much confidence for my future flights.

I got the same response when I called today. I re-registered using the link in this forum, and got a confirmation. I mentioned that I had already booked a ticket between the first registration (with no confirmation) and the one yesterday (with email confirmation). She said all will be fine. Only time will tell...I'll be annoyed if it doesn't get the double status points.

So I take it by the responses that those who have registered still have no bonus credits posted from flights in early April.

The clock is ticking for me as I would have preferred this went through by my April 30 reset. My understanding is that they say 6 weeks, but previous offers mostly posted within a week based on other members experiences.

Man, it can't be that hard can it since their processing systems have offered this many times before.

They always say 6 weeks as a safeguard.. my guess is you will see it come through a couple of times a week - thats whats happened in the past..

either way they should be credited in the month you took the travel - not when they post.

I am watching this thread on tenterhooks for when someone finally confirms a bonus credit post has occurred. Then I hit the phones if mine does not post at the same time.

So here is another question. I am currently waiting in BNE to board a flight to SYD. I took a JASA on Easter Saturday that gave me enough sc to reach WP. Therefore, when they finally post my SC bonus, does my flight tonight readjust to give me the WP minimum point earn instead of SG minimum earn? This is why I also get annoyed when they drag their feet processing these things.

I've got 4 flights on Thursday so will report back as to when the standard and double credits post.

on a BNE-SYD flight you won't earn anymore than the 1000 minimum points regardless of status.. so i wouldn't be too worried about that.

Unless it's a J class booking of course, and then minimum 1,250 points kicks in.. but this is still more than the 1,170, counting cabin bonus and status bonus.

I got a points adjustment posting in my account when my status went from PS to SG back in October. I flew CNS-BNE, BNE-PER on one day and then PER-KTA on the second day. The BNE-PER pushed me into SG. The original posting for PER-KTA didn't have the status bonus, but these were added 10 days later. I would assume the same would always happen, but I can't confirm that for certain.

I did SYD-BNE-SYD last week and the standard SC's posted the same day, still waiting for the bonus ones to post, hopefully it will be soon, as I will be moving from PS to SG after another 2 or 3 trips if they post. Now looking at WP as an option before July renewal.

Hi All,

Just wanted to clarify some of the points discussed recently.

Targeting: As I mentioned earlier, only selected members are eligible for this promotion.

There are two ways to register:
1. Click on your email link – this method does not require you to log-in but sends a message to your QFF profile to register you (this process is just a bit easier than having to log in).
2. You can visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril then log into your profile – This method will provide you with a confirmation email but is a little more involved. It will also confirm that you have been selected for the promotion.

So, if you were not selected for the promotion, you will not be able to register and you will not be eligible to earn double Status credits.

Registration confirmation: If you are at all concerned that your registration has been accepted, visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril and register again, this will send an email to you. I can assure you though, that selected members who have clicked on their email are registered – no harm in making doubly sure!

Crediting of Status credits: The bonus Status credits should start appearing from early next week. I am confident that within minutes of this happening there will be a post about it, I wonder who will pick it up first.

Status bonus points for members who attain tier mid itinerary: If you qualify for a higher tier (Gold for instance) on one flight sector, you will start earning the Gold Status bonus points on the next flight sector you travel on. There will be a points adjustment if you are credited points at a lower tier when you should have been at a higher level. If you have any questions or wish to check on particular flights, please call the Service Centre.

I understand everyone wants to be clear on how the promotion will work so I hope this answers your questions.

Cheers,
Red Roo

RR - can you clarify your earlier statement that flying SYD-ADL-SIN on the QF81 will attract status credits per segment? This would be against the standard SC earning rules which state that a single flight number does NOT earn status credits per segment, but rather as the total distance travelled as a whole?

If your previous statement was correct, that would mean pax travelling MEL-SIN-LHR would receive SCs for both MEL-SIN and well as SIN-LHR, rather than just the through flight MEL-SIN.

I don't think there is any need to clarify that statement. It is clear that it won't earn as 2 segments. However, it was also just an example used to clearly state that only international legs of domestic flights will earn status in August, not domestic connections to international flights. These domestic international flights are so few in number that it really isn't worth worrying about. So could you please let it go?
