Just wanted to double check something, bookings can be made up until the end of June for flights in August right?

When I first got the email I thought I had to book in April only, for flights from April - June and August, but on reading now looks like I have all of May and June to book flights too. I just want to be sure. Help me put my mind at ease.

There's not a lot of alternate interpretations:

My understanding is that flights booked as part of a oneworld ticket that have QF numbers but are in fact operated by JQ or 3K are not eligible for double status even though they contain a QF number....

Here's the key sentence from the email offer received....

* An eligible flight for the purposes of this promotion means any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Status credits are normally earned.

Or in full

* An eligible flight for the purposes of this promotion means any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Status credits are normally earned. Status credits may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes including Classic Award flights and Qantas codeshare flights (i.e. with a QF flight number on the ticket) operated by Jetstar or Jetstar Asia other than in Economy booking classes Y, B, H, K, and L (when booked as part of a oneworld fare). Qantas Segments booked in X, U, Z or P classes are eligible to earn Points and Status credits only when booked as part of a Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Award.

You wont get double SCs in conjunction with the HKG double SC offer, one or the other.

I wasn't expecting that - I am however expecting double SCs on my SYD-HKG-SYD and SYD-LHR trips under the two promos for a bonus of 360SCs in total.

It must be a QF flight number, not a JQ one, if you can book the QF code share then yes if its got points/SC earn

Hi All,

Just wanted to clarify some of the points discussed recently.

Targeting: As I mentioned earlier, only selected members are eligible for this promotion.

There are two ways to register:
1. Click on your email link – this method does not require you to log-in but sends a message to your QFF profile to register you (this process is just a bit easier than having to log in).
2. You can visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril then log into your profile – This method will provide you with a confirmation email but is a little more involved. It will also confirm that you have been selected for the promotion.

So, if you were not selected for the promotion, you will not be able to register and you will not be eligible to earn double Status credits.

Registration confirmation: If you are at all concerned that your registration has been accepted, visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril and register again, this will send an email to you. I can assure you though, that selected members who have clicked on their email are registered – no harm in making doubly sure!

Crediting of Status credits: The bonus Status credits should start appearing from early next week. I am confident that within minutes of this happening there will be a post about it, I wonder who will pick it up first.

Status bonus points for members who attain tier mid itinerary: If you qualify for a higher tier (Gold for instance) on one flight sector, you will start earning the Gold Status bonus points on the next flight sector you travel on. There will be a points adjustment if you are credited points at a lower tier when you should have been at a higher level. If you have any questions or wish to check on particular flights, please call the Service Centre.

I understand everyone wants to be clear on how the promotion will work so I hope this answers your questions.

Dear Red Roo. Can you provide an update. It is "early next week" and there does not appear to be any posting of bonus SC's. Would appreciate any updates as I am continuing to take flights where I am SG on paper, but in reality I would like my WP once those bonus' post.

Last year there was a routine that ran Tuesdays to credit the point, given today is Tuesday, and its still early this week.....
