Wow - That is very good customer service, for as you said, such a small matter.

But 160 point is 160 points and I doubt anyone on this site would think otherwise

An update on the transaction at Woolworths that did not register the Everyday Rewards points.

I sent feedback to Everyday Rewards last week and apparently they were trying to call me on the weekend. Anyway they sent an email for me to call back which I did today and after a few minutes on the phone I was advised that they will transfer 160 QFF points to my QFF account. Will take up to 72 hours for the points to appear.

Yes I know 160 QFF points is not a great deal but it is nice to know that Woolworths values customer service....

That’s a really good outcome, lets just hope it’s not abused with claims by people who haven’t presented the card.

Its a pity that this is my last week in Tassie-the local liqour store has a promo-buy 6 bottles of Yalumba wine and get a free round of golf at Barnbougle.
And BWS gets you nix here.

You obviously need to have the receipt with receipt number, store number and amount spent. If this fits into your normal shopping patterns then I believe they will credit the QFF points as with our history we shop every Friday and Friday 26 November 2010 was missing from our Everyday Rewards record.

On the other hand if you put in a claim for points every week then at some point questions may be asked and points claims refused.

I usually shop on a Sunday evening, but I have found that this is a bad time as you miss out on the specials!

It seems to happen earlier every Sunday now, that about 4-6pm staff will start to take off/down the special labels that are on products as special end on a Sunday.

The new ones don't go up til Monday.

As a result you have no idea what is on special on a Sunday :(

I used to have that problem too-then I signed up for the weekly specials email which comes out early Monday morning-it lists the specials that run from Monday to the following Sunday, they are also available on the Woolworths website.

Ah nice - But surely there is more on special on the shelves than just what's in the catalogue ?

Whist not FF points-related, I did manage to win a James Boags portable BBQ from an EDR/BWS promo last momth

Congrats, I ended up buying a couple cases in that promotion. I also bought 3 cases last week when they were selling the Blue Tongue at $38, though no competition associated I don’t think?

When I bought my case, towards the end of the promo, the sales guy told me I had a good chance of winning as mine was only the third entry! Other customers were either not buying Boags or didn't have an EDR card. Maybe it reflects the area in which I live . I think its the only BWS actually in the suburb in which I live, though not the closest one geographically.

Boags would be a good description for some of the people that I see at my local ;), the price difference to Dans or First Choice is so much that you will rarely see me in a BWS these days, its quite noticeable why you get points.

Careful now Boags is my local at the moment-and some locals aren't happy that the DPO QP stocks Cascade!

You likely know the one from which I won the BBQ :p. I think it was the first and only time I have purchased there - only visiting for the promo. Unfortunately Dan's is a little further away, though there is one at a certain large shopping centre to the west that gets used fairly frequently by the NMs. I have not been to the "local" First Choice which I believe would be the one to the east close to the wet stuff. Might have to make the effort as they do tend to carry a better range as well as better prices just not located inside the shopping centres were many BWS tend to be found (except said BBQ winning store of course).

There is a 1st Choice near Dans just turn left instead of right and does not have 200 handicapped parking spots out the front , although they need to sharpen their JW Gold pricing.

Will need to look more closely next time.

Now, back on topic ... its been a while since I received any personalised promos. Perhaps I am using the card too often and they don't think I need any encouragement to spend my hard-earned at EDR merchants.

You should have got the quarterly email today??? No fresh food offer this time.

Oh I noticed today that Woolies don't have the physical Everyday rewards cards in-stores anymore. Just a temporary one, and then a plastic one is sent to you. When did this change ?

One of my quartely statements is in with a few nice offers

1. Receive 200 bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points when you spend $20 or more on beach towels at Big W

2. Simply spend the amount below at two of these stores before 24 December 2010 to receive your bonus 500 points: $31 or more at Woolies/Big W/BWS and also $51 or more at **** Smith.
