Will need to look more closely next time.

Now, back on topic ... its been a while since I received any personalised promos. Perhaps I am using the card too often and they don't think I need any encouragement to spend my hard-earned at EDR merchants.

Correct - Card rotations work well for double/triple points

When I bought my case, towards the end of the promo, the sales guy told me I had a good chance of winning as mine was only the third entry! Other customers were either not buying Boags or didn't have an EDR card. Maybe it reflects the area in which I live . I think its the only BWS actually in the suburb in which I live, though not the closest one geographically.

You’ll have to give me the name so I can try and win too next time!

I quite liked First Choice when I was at uni due to a Tasmanian brew called Hammer n Tongs that sold for $25 initially, as a full strength it was brilliant.

With the amount of EDR members perhaps the quarterly statements take their time to get out these days?

Oh I noticed today that Woolies don't have the physical Everyday rewards cards in-stores anymore. Just a temporary one, and then a plastic one is sent to you. When did this change ?
A few months ago at least.

I got a new card about 3 months ago and that was the go then.

You should have got the quarterly email today??? No fresh food offer this time.
No quarterly email for me yet. Why does it take so long for the emails to be sent out?

It would be a long way to go from Nerang to Redcliffe just to buy a case of beer.

I've seen the physical cards at DSE and BWS recently. Can't think of anywhere else that still has them. I presume the cost of the cards is high compared to the number of people who actually get them and register them.

It'd be at least 6, maybe 12 when I saw those temp cards at my local stores (and could well have been put in before that since it's not something I'd usually check!).

I got my quarterly statement but the Partner wasn't happy as I got offered 700 points when I spend at three places (Woolies,BWS,BigW) and he didn't !

But now you also get sent a keychain one too now
Yep, I had to replace a card a few months ago and was told to get a new cardboard card from the store and register it as a replacement.

About two weeks later I received three new plastic cards, two key ring size.

Still no quarterly statement. :(

So what happens with Everyday Rewards points while you wait 2-3 weeks for the new card to be mailed out?

The cardboard one has a barcode on it just like the plastic one, why would there be any difference in the way its handled, the scanner does not care what material the barcode is printed on, and the moment you register the replacement code its working AFAIK?

Yep, the new 'application' forms have a pop out cardboard temp card.

Currenly I use none of these, not the cardboard one, not the new plastic one, nort the two key ring ones, since the same barcode is on the back of my freshly minted Woolworths Everyday Rewards Qantas credit card.

It caused some confusion at the local Woolies Petrol station on the weekend when I handed the cashier two cards - a woollies CC and an Amex .:P

Boags would be a good description for some of the people that I see at my local ;), the price difference to Dans or First Choice is so much that you will rarely see me in a BWS these days, its quite noticeable why you get points.

I totally agree. Every time l have walked into a BWS, l usually walk out within 5 minutes and then walk the extra odd 100 meters to a Vintage Cellars which is a lot cheaper.

Perhaps it is time for the family to be enrolled in Everyday Rewards.

No bonus points offers with the latest quarterly statement. :(

Indeed I have several family members of which I rarely see in fact ;);)

Only received two statements here so far, but I should get 5 in total.

The card I use most had no offers, where the card that I haven't used for two months had all the boni points offers, of which 700 points are very easily obtainable!

SWMBO received a statement (500 QFF pt offer if spending the qualifying amount* at any 2 Woolworths retail partners before 24 December); I did not.

Will Coles (Wesfarmers) ever come out with a FF linked card? Or, are they locked in with their Flybuys promo? I haven't heard anything on the Wesfarmers side of things in a very long time.

I like to double dip
Get points on Woolies spend
Get points on using the AMEX (Westpac Earth card) at the same time.

Can this can be done over at Coles?

Not sure, but I do love the look on the face of the Coles checkout girls when I pay for my lunch using my Woolies CC :) (I'd shop at Woolies, but unfortunately the only purveyor of food within walking distance is Coles).
