Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I started Yr 2 (recently) with 1 leaf gratis (quiz) but I have the quiz available in the Well being app to do (which I will do in due course for the 100 pts) - BTW, the quiz should be at the top “How sustainable are you?”
ah, there it is. First leaf won't be far away then!

Anyone managed to get green tier status for a child? (Seeing as you have to be 14 years old to download the wellbeing app and 18 years old to book hotel accommodation) Any success with work arounds or pleas to Qantas?

Pretty sure it is 13 for the wellbeing app.

I can't really see a reason you couldn't transfer them some points/cash (if they don't have them) and have them do the normal easy steps to get the leaves?

I can get 4 of the 5 leaves - it's the remaining one that is problematic (wellbeing app or hotel booking) - unless something has changed that I'm not aware of?

A question for the team:

I had a previously booked flight that is still upcoming that I subsequently used to attain the offset flying to get the green leaf in that category - I paid for the offset flying some time after I made the original flight booking.

The green leaf has not yet come through for offset flying.

When does the green leaf appear for this category? After the actual flight is taken or some time before the flight but after the offset flying is paid for?

Thanks.

Usually about 48hrs after paying for the offset but many reports of it not posting if paid after the initial booking or less than $1 (or something like that).

No it's not. I received a reward last calendar and membership year ie 2022. As I have qualified this year 2023 and also in my new membership year, why do I have to wait until the following calendar and membership year? ie rewards in 2022 and 2024
I am having this exact conversation with Qantas at present. I have been referred to a ‘specialised panel’. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Hey mate, just wondering if you ended up receiving the green leaf as I’m in similar situation?

I had a similar situation. Paid with points for the offset , separate to the initial booking, about 4 weeks before the flight. The leaf still had not appeared, even after the flight. I rang the frequent flyer team ( Manila), it was seen and acknowledged by the agent whilst I was on the call and the leaf credited to the account by the next day.

No not yet.
I emailed the FF team and got an automated response followed by another that said that they are really busy and it will take a while. I’ll give it another week or so then I’ll call. Hopefully Hobart will pick up the phone.

Just read the T&Cs for Green Tier (obvioulsy had nothing better to do on a Sunday arvo) and noticed the following "In order to be recognised for the Green Tier activity, Qantas Frequent Flyer members must tick ‘Fly Carbon Neutral’ on eligible flights during the booking process or in My Account. Carbon offset will be recognised as a Green Tier activity seven days after purchase."

Yes. That’s precisely correct. And it’s been longer than seven days after purchase for me.

I'm having a flight offset battle too, I keep being told it has to be done during the booking despite T&C saying different
