Qantas Status Credits Boost

I requalified WP with April year end. Just checked the app and received the (Bastille Day) bonus, thanks Qantas!
So now have 650 SC with 50 from WOW which makes requal do-able.
Will probably look more closely at credit card 75 SC offer too.
I also like the entry on July 13 😊

Very interesting development. Have just checked and had 1,800 SCs 'deposited' into my account - March YE. Now only have 1,790 remaining to retain P1 (I had earned 10 SCs from BP) which is still going to be a challenge before next March given that QF have recently cancelled all int'l flights until then and that's traditionally where 95%+ of my SCs are earned.

Based on a couple of data points, the status boost seems to be applied if you have already requalified And didn’t need/benefit from the status extension.
Not in my case. I had significantly fewer status credits than required to retain platinum on my 30 April anniversary date. I received the 600 boost this morning.

Same here. I think the first tranche was done yesterday for the requals and today for those who didnt.

Here's the announcement which was published about 10 minutes ago.

MORE REWARDS FOR QANTAS FREQUENT FLYERS AS TRAVEL RESUMES

Extra Status Credits: To help our most frequent flyers maintain their benefits throughout travel restrictions, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum One members will automatically receive 50 per cent of the Status Credits they need annually to keep their tier. Members most impacted, such as those whose membership year started at the peak of travel restrictions, will also be eligible for additional monthly Status Credits support.

Tantalising comment about additional monthly Status Credits support. Wondering where I apply for Status Credit keeper?

Father Christmas gave Pineapple got 600   , Mrs Pineapple 300:cool:. Both have a year end of April

More details here including who is eligible and when your boost will be applied:

As someone who had already requalified and did not benefit from the 1 year extension, THANK YOU QANTAS! ❤

Do when know whent the bonuses will be applied? For example, my membership year ends September, so I hope it won't be before September...

I got the email but even with 1800 SC, don't think requalifying for P1 is likely.

It's already been posted, but there's a table here giving you the exact answer:

Well, I don’t have to moan because even though I have kept WP until end of February 2022, QFF has still given me 50% of status credits. Not actually needed to requalify, but useful towards life time status. (Yay! Silver here I come!) Also loyalty bonus SC will go towards life time status. I note that March and April folk will also receive monthly status credits to help them out further, which shows QFF are thinking of their loyal customer. Later months will probably follow In due course.

" Earning Status Credits on hotel bookings"
I can not see any status credit earn rates on the luxury offers.
Is it a status credit per $ spend calculation?
