Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

Prices seem to have shot up on the .br site (over and above the usual non-sale fare). Recently non-sale fares were around $550, now they seem to be $735ish.

Fingers crossed for another sale soon, couldn't book during the last sale for a few reasons, but all hurdles cleared now. :)

...or maybe just the date I want. :/

Hmmm - it seems that Qantas have blocked the sale of fare buckets lower than "S" for LHR fares ex OZ and booked in .br ...

Are you referring to this wording?

TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON THE STOCK OF QF OR EK AND MAY NOT BE SOLD IN BRAZIL.

Was only a matter of time, I guess...

this may change when another sale fare is released, it may or may not have that condition on it.

edited to add: I guess it's still a good deal for those looking at upgradeable fares

..
Not specifically, but a few searches MEL-> LHR vv this morning are only showing S or better, even on flights where E./F shows O9 ... - Still, $1700 is not bad for an upgradeable fare ...

Where is this wording exactly ?
Will the flights I bought last week MEL-SIN return from the .br site be affected ?

Sorry my earlier text was taken from E/F fare conditions BNE-LHR on one of the "O" clas fares. Didn't check Q or N but I suspect the same. I wonder if it's been added to PE...

No impact on sales that already occurred...this is just making it so the cheapest ones can no longer be booked ex-Brazil. I suspect they say a big leap in bookings ex-Brazil and instituted the fare restriction.

What OTAs (Online travel agency) sites apart from Expedia (.br) can be used to book some of these flights??

I have found some QF fares on ITA that look good - but cannot get the same fare via Expedia. The fare on Expedia (.br) is still good :) but if it matched to the matrix.itasoftware fare it would be GREAT!!:p
The fare difference from Expedia.com.br to ITA is around $150 per adult return on each ticket. Starts to add up if you have 4 adults travelling.

Note: I am not talking about the Expedia charges that are added on at the end (i.e. their booking fee) - I am talking about the base fare price.
