This issue has been simmering for some weeks and makes a total mockery of the supposed "Stronger Qantas" strategy.

Annoyingly enough, I received the double SC's email and yet already have enough SC's \ booked flights to retain status without the double promotion, and yet I won't stand a chance of earning enough SC's even with double SC earn before Jan 31st (year end for me) to move up a level. Thus any attempt at me to use the double SC's promotion would be almost a waste (excluding LTS \ LTG earning).

Nice - only worth about 4K to me unless I go to India (which is not happening) but any bonus is a good bonus.

One suggestion for future promos might be to either extend the period of award (commercially adverse I guess) or give a longer run up. In order to control cost and ensure I can fly OW I book quite in advance. Now I know this promo included existing bookings for once but if I had a big trip in Nov/Dec it is likely that I would have booked it three months out at least and this sort of promo would have swayed to move heaven and earth to by on a QF flight number.

1000% points bonus as a QF birthday gift, good will gesture on all above mentioned flights
Upgrade to F on all above mentioned (or highest class) - at QF's expense
Limo transfers, even when in Y on above mentioned - 1000km radius
CL membership
Buggy transfers at all airports l visit
Escort through customs

For the recent QF grounding;
Audi RS6 - 'gift'
Upgrades for the next 10 years
CL membership (lifetime)

Emails are still being sent so not bad news for you yet

In regards to double SC promotions, each promotion we do has different criteria for segmentation so I can't tell you exactly why you have not received one yet. Maybe you'll get it next time........
