+1 for the email. Platinum offer of epiqure here. My JNB-SYD-BNE return in J in the next 4 weeks will be well worth the points.

Two emails received. Myself and Mrs.
Both Bronze, and probably won't be able to benefit.

Mr and I both bronze and don't have the email. We also have flight to LHR in mid Dec on QF. ....... Oh well.

I'm kind of underwhelmed by the offer of an Epiqure membership. An F lounge pass I could give to my family is much more valuable.

I'm probably very alone on this one though.

Well done Red Roo for trying to make it up to everyone though. It's a shame there's nothing in it for me.

Email + FLounge pass, just quickly does anyone know if it's one pass (eg only good if a solo traveller) or if it allows member + 1 guest?

Does anyone have a definition for 'Selected bronze members'??

My wife and I are flying in Dec. to LAX and this would be very welcome, but no email yet.

We can only afford to fly once a year or so but we have always been loyal to Qantas... but I'm guessing they wont be giving the bonus to those Bronze folks flying anyway, they want to attract new bookings right :-|

Maybe my loyalty is better off elsewhere :(

Register using the website?
I did last Friday thanks.

I got an instant response of:
Thank you Mr straitman for your request.
Our team will review your request and will get back to you shortly.
We appreciate your ongoing support and loyalty.

Nothing since as yet.

Maybe because we have international flights booked and paid for in December we have been selected out of the "selected bronze members to get this deal". The QF definition of loyal may be different to ours?:(

Finally a promotion that rewards loyalty to QFF and not just the vultures waiting to pounce on too good to be true opportunities like double SCs promotions that make no sense.

Didn't get an extra gift as I was not flying that weekend and I am not complaining.

I have 9 flights between now and 23 December which should earn me 9,000+ QFF points. A nice little Christmas bonus for my continued loyalty over the past 8 years....

I agree. Some people here expect the moon. QF have been very good to me. I wasn't flying over the weekend so, no impact on me. I will enjoy the bonus as a SG (Thank you Qantas). I have not flown at all this year due to a change in work and life, yet QF extended me SG for another 12 months. All in all, I feel they are being very fair. As such, they have my loyalty to them and Oneworld. I'll be WP again by middle Jan.

I am pretty much in exactly the same position.

And next year will be even less flying due to studies....

I really would like you to explain in what way QF has been very good to you.

In my case I would say that I have paid a pretty penny for everything I have recieved and have never got any favors or 'something for nothing' from them. In fact many times I have paid over the odds to fly with them and I am now finally saying, no more.

Now if you are not a "selected"bronze but on a flight you make silver status would you get the bonus? If I switch my Aadvantage number to QFF I would make silver on the LAX-BNE flight.

No, silver benefits would apply after the flight that qualifies you, not the flight you gain it.

Thanks QF for the extra points, sadly only 2 SYD-BNEs for me in the qualifying period.

Hi Proskyneo,

Emails are still being sent so not bad news for you yet ;)

In regards to double SC promotions, each promotion we do has different criteria for segmentation so I can't tell you exactly why you have not received one yet. Maybe you'll get it next time........

Cheers,
Red Roo

Haha my question was a bit tongue in cheek, but thanks for the response.

I GOT AN EMAIL WOOHOO - 25% bonus for NB and wasn't disrupted, so no extra gift. Also have a few flights booked in the next few weeks, so that didn't exclude me from the email - it's never that simple with Qantas.

A nice gift of just 3.5k extra points, but that's better than nothing!

Now if only they released a double SC promotion as well (and I also got it)..

Oh also, the small print says they may extend the offer, so either whining will get it extended, or they might just not extend it to spite you :D take your pick

Awesome, I got double points and double SC's. Bye bye VA (for a while at least) :)

Very happy. Thanks Red Roo and Qantas.
