I applied but never activated under the previous offer, as work travel plans were continually delayed - based in PER, and couldn't risk not being able to come home. I assume I'll be ineligible for the offer under the below term, but i've emailed to try to ask anyway.

If I’m already activated or signed up for the previous Qantas Status Fast Track for Gold but haven’t completed it, does this mean my end date has been extended?
No. Members who have already been activated on the previous Qantas Status Fast Track (between 26 November 2020 and 11.59pm (AEDT) 31 March 2021) have until 30 June 2021 to earn the required Status Credits and are not eligible to apply for this Status Fast Track.

Hi,

A quick question to ask. I booked a few classic rewards just a couple of days before I tuned to Points Club member. Do I have to cancel and rebook them in order to receive SC? I mean, the SC is given based on the fact that you are points club member on the date of flying or date of booking? Thank you!

It's based on date of flying -

The below tables show how many Status Credits you’ll earn on Qantas marketed Classic Flight Rewards taken on and from 18 March 2020 if you are a member of Points Club or Points Club Plus at the time of flying/ when you fly.

For anyone who is playing along at home - just received an email from QFF.

Dear exceladdict

Congratulations!
We’re pleased to confirm your participation in Qantas Status Fast Track to assist you in reaching Qantas Gold status faster.

exceladdict, we have enrolled you to the Qantas Status Fast Track on 04March2021 to avoid missing out on the offer, as we haven't received any response from you before the deadline for the nomination date.

Earn at least 100 Status Credits through Qantas Frequent Flyer till 30June2021, and we’ll upgrade you to Qantas Gold. You will have access to the Qantas Club until 31 July 2021, where available, when travelling with Qantas and Jetstar. To access the Qantas Club, please make sure your Frequent Flyer number is in your booking, and show your boarding pass or digital Qantas Club card available on the Qantas App.
This was as expected, but I am guessing that if you applied under the previous offer you would have also been auto-started in early march if you didn't nominate a date.

So you applied under this 2nd more recent Qantas fast track offer right?
I'm little confused with the 04March starting date, this offer just came out last Thursday 8th April. Are they back dating the start date for some reason?

I too applied, just sent in required docs this morning, see what comes of it.
If accepted, not holding my breath as I assume Qantas after AirNZ elites, but 100SC no sweat.

Just did my second expression of interest, never heard back the first time so we'll see how this one goes!

I applied as VA gold, got back the email to send off docs which I did. However, on the email, it said if you're traveling within 10 business days to call (which I am, so I did). On the spot, they checked the card and confirmed my participation.

If you are traveling soon and decide to call to process it faster, you need to wait until you get an automated email back with a reference number (this took a few hours after sending off the screenshot of the card).

The QF Club membership hasn't shown up yet but I did get a confirmation email saying I need to get 100 status credits between today and 31 July.

Nah I applied under the previous offer but never "activated". The QFF email indicates they activated it on my behalf, unfortunately :(

I was under the impression the first one was extended to 31 July as well?

Unfortunately according to my email and the website, it's still the end of June :(

My goodness did I just have an entertaining yet frustrating call with Qantas on phone re; this QantasFast Track for Gold.

I'm taking a flight next week & wanted to know if approved for Q Fast track or not, was told yes received my application, I had to really stipulate so does that mean I'm approved etc. Anyway I was & asked for email for evidence.
So doesn't seem like any qualification, just anybody who has Gold or above on that list of airlines.

Then I asked when the 12months starts after I gain the 100 SC's, as I'll claim the 100SC in a single return flight next week with J return MEL-BNE.
12month kicks in from next week or from offer ending at 31st July.
I was told till my next anniversary date which as a non-status Q that is 31st Dec. I obviously said so I get 6month Q Gold Status. He said yes, he checked with a colleague & & confirmed was the case. Was actually a different answer to what I asked, but hey went along with it.
I said that's not what the T&C's state.

I said I probably won't participate now cos I'm not being given what the offer clearly states. He asked me where I read that, eventually he found it, confirmed with another colleague again & confirmed yes 12months.
Ah, but the answer from 12months starting wasn't confirmed with any confidence, from my 100SC gain or 31st July.

Anyway doesn't fill me with much confidence, it takes like 10mins to read the offer in full. Isn't it part of most forms of employment to be aware of company dealings/offerings if it's directly involved in your employment role. Receive an email from HQ, read it FFS, you know your going to get callers asking about it.

If I answered the call & filled the client with half baked incorrect info I'm sure I'd be searching on seek.com before not too long.
Very ordinary.

I got an email confirmation almost immediately after a phone call. The QF club however hasn't shown up in my account yet.

Terms say you get at least 12 months. I take this as the current year you have and then 12 months on that.

I'm flying a short sector in J next week that was booked under the recent DSC promotion and will get me to my 100SC for the status match. Somehow I've managed to get my QR and QFF numbers added to the booking - is there a way I can remove my QR number online or will I need to call to get this rectified?

I'm nervous that the SC will credit to the wrong account and as I'm flying J/under the Status Match there is no benefit to having my QR number on the booking.

Can you remove the QR number using the Finnair website?
Didn't even think of that!

When I enter the PNR it shows the QR number in the summary, but when I open the booking details to make changes the QF number pops up!

Might need to put in a call....

Just received my gold card and single bag tag with the 100 year logo after qualifying about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I'm also unsure about requalification requirements. Would I be required to earn 600 status credits during the gifted full membership year or during the current membership year combined with that gifted period next year?

I asked this of QF using their enquiry form and received a notification that I would receive a confirmation email with reference number and my query would be answered soon. However so far nothing including the email with a reference number.

I have put a digital membership card in my phone's wallet but it's very generic with a red card on a white background showing my membership number and a bar code. VA and others have digital cards which show status whereas the QF card doesn't. Is this digital card the correct one?

And you may also want to double check with an agent at the airport?
Got through to the call centre and had my QR number removed, and confirmed that the correct details are showing on the QF, QR, and AY websites, but will 100% be reconfirming with the lounge team on departure. Thanks all!

Yes, generic in wallet, what does the card look like in the Qantas phone app?
