Qantas to fast track airline loyalty program status

Great news! I didn't receive the email, but I got a personal phone call from QFF earlier this afternoon letting me know (as I had been on the phone with them recently about just this). This should be plenty of time for those us in Vic/NSW to actually be able to fly and earn the SC.
I feel that some of us (like me) who have already achieved Gold status though this promo have been dudded.

My year end is August, so my gold status (which I may not be able to use much) will end in 8/22.

If I had done nothing and just coasted along to 2/22, I would have gold status to 8/23.

Just my take.

Geez so those who qualify in Jan or Feb 2022 for this fast track will keep their gold till year end 2023 (for those with Dec memb date), wow that's a real bonus. I guess always ome real winners & some not so much with these offers.

I received 18months of gold from fast track, but wonder how some who earn QF Gold genuinely the 600SC way feel with so many freebies to others for just 100SC's.
Then again I'll barley use it anyway.

Question for those that have got the extension, is your digital card in the QF app still showing, "Qantas Club"? I got the extension email but my card is now just showing Bronze instead of Qantas Club.

Don't rely on the BP 50 Status credits offer. Because I had purchased petrol at BP in July and my Status credits expired at the end of July, I was given the 50 status credits and then they were deleted. Even though I had made 5 additional qualifying purchase between the start of August and the end of September when this promotion finished.

Welcome to AFF! Try calling QF as per the following post:

For those of you who got the email saying we've got until Feb 2022 to earn 100 SCs - is Qantas Club membership showing up in your account? It used to show that for me but it's not there at the moment...

Yep, I'm in the same boat as you, the Qantas Club membership seems to have disappeared. Dunno if it would show up on my boarding pass if I flew though since I'm still stuck in Sydney for the moment.

Yay, my Gold was awarded today. However, it seems this now expires in March 2022.. WTF? So 4 months of Gold?

When you log into the Qantas app on a phone and then select MY QFF in the bottom corner followed by the card in the top right, does it show the same?

Mar 2023. If I want to attain platinum though the deadline is Mar 2022 according to the website.

I assume that at the end of your current membership year, the expiry date on your QF Gold would extend to March 2023?

Yep so your gold is valid through to March 2023. They're basically giving you 4 months + 12 months of Gold status.

The March 2022 deadline you're seeing is the current membership year, normally you'd have to earn enough status credits in a membership year to retain status for the following, as they've already given you status through to next year then it's a moot point.

Obviously from here there are 4 options.

- I wouldn't worry about this membership year (between now and Match 2022), but if you were flying a lot you could try and reach for Platinum (obviously it's only 4 months and quite hard), if you were to get Platinum then it'd be valid from the day you got it through to March 2023.

- Once the new membership year ticks over at the end of March 2022, you could earn 600 status credits to retain Gold, this would give you gold through to March 2024.

- Once the new membership year ticks over, earn 1400 status credits giving you Platinum from the day you earn it through to March 2024.

- If you don't earn enough then you'd drop down to Silver and hold silver after March 2023 through to March 2024.

Regardless, any status credits earned between now and March 2022 won't count for retain status past 2023.

Looks like QF are running this again. Registration is open from to-day to 30 Nov 21 and the fly period to earn 100SC is between 1 Dec 21 - 28 Dec 22, details seem to be the same as last year.

According to the FAQs, Qantas has also extended the Fast Track expiry date for everyone who already applied between 26 November 2020 and 30 April 2021 until 28 February 2022. This includes both the first and second offers.

Hi All - assuming I reach 100SC by end of promotion, does anyone know when my Gold status expires? Is it end of Dec 2022?

End of the membership year after the gold status is granted.

I completed the challenge in July this year > membership year ends september 2021 > status expires september 2022.
