Anyone else having trouble starting an application?
Have tried to use the Qantas Money link earlier in thread and been advised 'Qantas Money unavailable..try again later' for about 2 days....

Try calling them, they will only call you and ask the same details you have entered into the form

Thank you for replies...I rang and got very helpful assistant.....asked me to delete a phone no. in qantas F/F profile and enter again and update......

seemed to sort out and I have now applied and also for Mrs citrusb.....as has been mentioned, let the fun begin...bring it on !!

Cove; Yes I believe so but they may reduce your other Citi Credit card limits. Jacques Vert;1648651 said:
They can reduce mine to zero if they like, it will save me from doing it ;)

So today I received my 4th phone call. "We notice you have an existing CitiBusiness card that has hardly been used for the past six months; we suggest that we cancel that card and give you the same credit limit on the new card."

Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

Applied yesterday, uploaded documents at the end still no word back from them.

Applied yesterday, uploaded documents at the end still no word back from them.

In my case, after uploading the documents, they phoned me before mid-day the next day, wanting all of the documents by email, as none had been received through the upload. Emailed the documents as attachments (along with a second payslip that they requested).

Took them a week to contact me to advise the form is not working correctly. Call them and the automated system will tell you where the application is at

Datapoint.
*complicating factor was the long weekend (Monday was a PH)

Approval SMS: Thursday 8th June
Card sent email: Saturday 10th June
Card arrived in Wollongong: today (Thursday 15th June)

Now to start working on that $3K! lol

I got a call asking basic verification questions, and asking for one extra payslip to be emailed. Advised it will then be fwd'd to a decision maker and I will be emailed with the outcome.

What a disaster.
I've just completed the direct debit form and the fax number they've provided is their standard calling number! Understandably the fax machine gets a little confused it's being asked to fax to a real person...

I gave them a call and the proper fax number (which is probably also wrong...) is 1300 794 785.

After 3 phone calls to my accountant and convinced I would be rejected woke up yesterday in Lisbon to see an email from Qantas premier approving my application

"An additional cardholder annual fee of $50 applies per additional cardholder."

Except you can't set one up yet. Can't wait for them to launch that amazing innovation:

We will soon be launching our Additional Cardholder feature.
Once the additional cardholder function is launched, you can have up to 4 additional cardholders on your account.

An extra point per dollar on Epiqure spend sounds good - are there any cards that offer this bonus with Epiqure specifically?
I'm pretty sure the Westpac and ANZ Qantas cards only award one bonus point per dollar on flights and flight vouchers, not epiqure.
Then again it's 2 points per dollar compared to 1.5 in some cases (soon to be reduced to 1.25) from the cc alone.

My AMEX Charge card does. Well not "specifically", but it basically just seems to be counted as Travel spend.

That is seriously blatant false advertising then. There is nothing on the website in the T&Cs that state additional cards are not actually available.

I thought I needed some light entertainment in our lives so we both applied for this new card today.

Why not have that person apply for their own and get the sign on bonus etc ?

I don't think that is enough of a reason to accept false advertising?

However, to answer your question, perhaps the other person's credit rating has already taken enough of a hit in the last few months but will still require the use of a non-Amex card.
