Application declined! I have emailed Citi and asked for a review as I think (know) by my phone discussions that the agent has misinterpreted my base employment contract which would reduce my income by 2/3rds. The agent also refused to accept one of my income streams despite my Citi Plat being approved with said stream last year. Despite this, my average contract income (the correct calculation) and investment income would put me way over minimum income criteria - as confirmed by the Citi agent.
Used exactly same income criteria for Westpac Black QFF application - no phone calls/contact - collecting the card this afternoon! Just in time to pay ATO.

Friend applied, got a call back the day after asking for one extra pay slip, got approved 5 minutes later. Card arrived 5 business days after that. Quite easy process according to them.

God luck with that. I was knocked back once (and only ever knock back), and never again. No amount of sane discussion helped, and I ended up w' 2 Veda enquires after they reviewed it. I have had countless successful cc applications since.
I feel certain this thread could become a second humour thread as answers come back from Citi. Often they ask for stuff you have already supplied or misinterpreted the numbers you supplied.
Being asked to call my employer to find the street number of the business (it has none) was a highlight of my application process.
Whilst time is running out, it is an expensive way to get points via ATO payments, in relative terms.
I was poking around looking for those digital lounge passes and found them here - https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/the-qantas-club/complimentary-invitations.html
Mine are dated from yesterday so I guess it takes them a while to sort them out.
They don't accept that. I tried making up numbers but without any luck.Probably should have just made up a street number.
Same. And now I get an email from Qantas telling me my passes have landed
